max thomas yeah that was him i remember putting on for ginger when he trained hit the lid every other week another gangster /bookie would bet at canterbury gingers dog s would often find up to a second on trial runs we had 2/1 a dog that started 1/3 it won a bend went on to win the derby ....mick that max would lay a bet i used to go down there with skinny gerry fooking long trip though
