Well well done to those who stuck with the lay. Personally i got out as my reasons for laying were twofold. And this next bit is for Reve!!
Firstly as i had mentioned i had received info on monday that For Non Stop's schooling sessions had not been entirely straightforward. As mentioned they had been a mixture of brilliance, overjumping and some right old blunders.
Secondly on tuesday i received info that Bottman had schooled very well and connections fancied their chances of making a winning start over fences. I was told there were two races that they had their eye on. One was todays at cheltenham, the second was a race at worcester next wednesday. i have not spoken to anyone since tuesday so i have no idea why the horse was withdrawn. as it was so close to the off i am guessing something went amiss today either with the horse or it may be that they felt the ground was too quick after watching the first race.
I didn't see the horse was running today and of course it hacks up by 8 lengths!!
What sort of a modus operandi do you operate? - If you post on here - to complete, unidentified, strangers - stable schooling 'information' -
- and then, "miss out," on a winner ....
