Hi Fellow Punters,

Ive recently been having a bet now and again, and instead of just searching for tips and taking people word for it, Ive decided to try and analyse horses, trainers Jockeys etc.

What ive been doing is going to sporting life, and checking horses history, which jockeys have the best win rate, best trainers etc.

I had a good day yesterday using this strategy at Ascot, but today... its been shocking.

Do you have any great resources to look at? books ? methods? etc.

Cheers

Prestige,do yourself a favor and walk away.Racing is the hardest game in the book and most punters that keep chipping away at making it pay are the ones that get off to a lucky start.I have read about several other highly successful gamblers in other disciplines that did their brains when it came to racing.Without being negative I give you about very little chance at succeeding.

Why not save all that time spent on studying and research and just visit your local bookies and play the machines?

The end result will be the same but you'll have a lot more spare time on your hands.

Trust me.

Do not always look for the winner but look at prices, some odds on shots are great value ire Frankel yet some terrible. Don't chase losses, go with visual evidence, trust your own instincts. Enjoy it and dont lose too much.
