Likely to be well backed today as this one is supposedly very well at home and thought by connections to be capeable of following up on recent win. Currently 4/1 with boils!!!

9/2 on here seems like a pretty fair price to me.

Trainer 0/36 at Nottingham - still value?

good point rattle, but even with trainers poor course record,im told this one is expected to jump out and make all. appaently the only other challenger for the lead is madame kintyre and that one is drawn next to it. also form of its last win which was a very easy win was given a boost when the second horse, sharp bullet came out and won next time so despite a bit of a hike in the handicap, it could still be well treated here. ground could also get softer which would be in its favour too.

a bit surprising to see it drift on here though as i see it is now 5/1

uptheboro,

The weakness of Cool In The Shade, is all down to the strength of Best Be Careful, for which i had a phone call for this morning. Told to back, Best Be Careful at 8/1 (LADS), but price had gone before those shops opening at 9:00 am, opened.

The full info i had for this race was avoid raffaf like the plague as it is unlikely to evenmake the frame. connections of whitecrest believe their horse will reverse the form with best be careful and that cool in the shade was very well and would attempt to make all. From that i thought cool in the shade was a fair price and maybe have a small bet on whitecrest.

Luckily I don't get any calls but I have managed to work out for myself that a three year old is the likely winner of this race.

I also want a bit more than 4/1 in a 14 runner charge at Notts near the end of the season. Black Annis the likely selection for me at a very reasonable 18/1 on here.

good luck there trusty. yep my money is on a 3-y-old winner too. always the value against their own age imo.

A case can be made for the first 5  in the market ,imo  . Of the rest , Style and Panache is very much hit and miss ,but she has put up performances to suggest that she is capable of popping up off this kind of mark - on a going day , that is . At likely odds , she might be worth  a small interest.

gl if you're playing in this.

ty saddo, lazarus, penzance, zorro and all. still stunned at the price tbh as it wasn't through lack of support. the person who told me had a four figure bet on it and im sure there were plenty of others who did the same.

I just need this goodwood thing to come in now in the 5.45 for a big double.
