If we had a two week drought with hosepipe Seamus around Goodwood would still have plenty of cut in the ground, so if you're worried about the possibility of genuine fast ground? I wouldn't, Goodwood don't do genuine fast ground.

I know the official going is 'good' on the straight course, G/fm in places on the round course - trouble is, I am hoping for the same rain we had here in Norfolk to have hit Goodwood !!

You might find some fast patches out the country on the round course but the straight is usually watered so much that its been rumoured that many ships have went a ground around Chichester Harbour after mysterious drops in sea level.

But I shall have a rather smaller tricast and forecast combo on Tagula Night, Steps, Ballista and R Woody
Just in case, you understand..

Prominent racing horses are drawn 4,8,15,16,18 & 20 and stalls are high so a high draw may be a good thing but it obviously depends on where Sheamus has watered (i.e. is he going high or low with his tricasts).
