Oops
Missed out 'amongst the' (drawn 8, 9, 10 and 11 of 13. 12 was a 28/1 shot (last) and 13 was a very dissapointing 9/2 fav whose best run since in 4 races was 10th of 16 !!) |

If we had a two week drought with hosepipe Seamus around Goodwood would still have plenty of cut in the ground, so if you're worried about the possibility of genuine fast ground? I wouldn't, Goodwood don't do genuine fast ground.

Thanks, Silvergreaser.
I know the official going is 'good' on the straight course, G/fm in places on the round course - trouble is, I am hoping for the same rain we had here in Norfolk to have hit Goodwood !! |

You might find some fast patches out the country on the round course but the straight is usually watered so much that its been rumoured that many ships have went a ground around Chichester Harbour after mysterious drops in sea level.

"NO rain"
Damn... and thankyou. Plan B, I guess. But I shall have a rather smaller tricast and forecast combo on Tagula Night, Steps, Ballista and R Woody Just in case, you understand.. |

cannydc, remember last year's high numbers are this year's low numbers due to the stall 1 to the inside on RH courses changes.

Eeeek !!
Best just watch the damned race then. This bet is cursed, it seems. |

fell for that trap myself earlier in the year, wondering why all my horses were floundering

Prominent racing horses are drawn 4,8,15,16,18 & 20 and stalls are high so a high draw may be a good thing but it obviously depends on where Sheamus has watered (i.e. is he going high or low with his tricasts).

Sheamus going low. 5, 11, 2 & 4.
