Frankie says it would be more cruel to ban the whip because trainers would be harsher to the horses behind the scenes - he has experience of that from Scandinavia.

So that's a case for not banning the whip then! Don't forget Dettori thinks that "Joey Barton is just the kind of person 'racing' should be trying to attract." He's a bigger idiot than he looks ..... and that takes some doing.

I'm no fan of Dettori Gerry - just loved McCririck made to look like the idiot he is.

I think frankie will have to find a better reason for not having the whip banned than that, cant see why that would happen anyway.

how are mark johnston,s horses ever going to win a race,some of them are under the cosh early on in races,they very rarely win hands and heels.

LAYB - if a whip ban was in place you'd have spotted your 'edge'.

me and my mate couldnt afford old holburn , used to look for the big stubs in the ashtray ,

that the chinese feller from the takeaway next door used to leave .

They might still win because none of the other runners will have the whip used on them either.
