Does anyone remember the forum member lord newbury Im going back to the early part of this century?
By:
...Yes, not so good comment by DG, that was probably what done for him.

Being only an occasional visitor to this forum, there was one individual that I do remember as being a HUGE wind up merchant on here for many many years with occasional name changes presumably in an attempt to disgiuse himself to prevent continuous criticism and he came under the names such as 'ascot_1', 'windsor boy' I think was another one and perhaps 'm_fordy' was one of his earlier inventions.
Just curious ..... is he still around or did he disappear about 10 years ago now? You could always tell when he returned with yet another username as the style of his messages always gave him away. |

It’s like the way people make up texts on their mobiles. Everybody has a style which can be recognised.

moke, you mean mfordy of the spanking paddles. Had many names, including
Lara Brown, pretendy covid victim. Believe it or not he teaches at an exclusive school. |

Back in the day the gossip was good on this forum, lots of late night discussions on the following days racing, plenty of good opinions around back then.
By:
I agree platinum but also there were some very nasty posters back then, thankfully they didn’t stay around for long.
By:
Indeed jimnast. The discussions on horse racing though were much better, in those days of course it really was a 'horse racing' forum.

Also platinum I found plenty were helpful with things like short cuts to the races and places to eat and drink afterwards just generally racing enthusiasts willing to help other racing enthusiasts.

No joke, I am a super fit health fanatic. I have a 32 inch waist and a 48 inch chest, do 15 to 20 hours of intense exercise every week plus 2 x 3 hour full contact sparring sessions. I maintain 8% body fat and am totally ripped. Tee total, I live on a superfood diet, mainly raw organic, with plenty of wild food too I am 45 but many people have told me (when they dont know my age) that I look 30 to 32. I have a property portfolio including a frontline apartment on the beach in Fuengirola, a villa in Mijas and a dozen plus rented out in London including 2 buildings with 8 flats and 12 flats never been topped |

he seemed genuinely shocked when everyone mocked him, i can't think of any other poster that got more derision other than the edinburgh loon, but many people actually liked mart
By:
mart was quite the melt....the daftest thing about mart was that he believed all he spouted
By:
Marts remarkable bridge jump after blowing another pot & landing on a boat full of tyres was a classic

Pity Onlooker does not post anymore. His posts always worth a look.
By:
He was a forward thinker.
By:
better than going forward alright
I did not mind Onlooker but he upset Workrider, another reasonable poster Give me those two ahead of worthless idiots who contribute nothing |
By:
Good point. workrider a big miss.

Judorick was completely mental but he was the only person who didn't realise it.

'moke, you mean mfordy of the spanking paddles. Had many names, including
Lara Brown, pretendy covid victim. Believe it or not he teaches at an exclusive school.' That sounds like him saddo. Didn't know he was a teacher, but why am I not surprised at that! Posters below mention someone called 'Mart'. Is that the same guy that we are talking about here, ie. 'mfordy'? |

Ah MFordy/JohnGrace/WindsorBoy/Ascotlad/LauraBrown. Amazing success with tipsters. If Sir Tom’s tip won, he was win only , if it was placed, he’d backed it ew. Ditto Sir Keals and Sir Hugh.
And on a Saturday, when all had lost, he was still in front because he had backed a 16/1 winner from a tipster in the Weekender or the SL website. Never had a problem getting on despite his success and was immune from rule 4. Gaze77. Systems expert. Presumably retired and living a life of luxury by coming up with the likes of “Chasers stepping up to 2m 4f on soft ground with an apprentice on board carrying under 10 st 7lbs, trained north of Nottingham never lose.” But he also had successful laying systems such as “Chasers stepping up to 2m 4f on soft ground with an apprentice on board carrying under 10 st 7lbs, trained north of Nottingham never win.” |
