Gainsboroughs Art  War 5-10   10/1

Won over this distance and GS ground on sole win off 95 about two years ago and change of stable and tumbling mark right down to 76 could spark up this chestnut gelding

Decision was a 1m2f Flat winner on good ground who has yet to get off the mark over hurdles, this GF surface will be more to his liking than last time over CD off 97 with an Amateur on board, now down to 95 with the decent Danny Cook knocking another 3lbs more off.

Reefer Beefer  Taun 5-20  13/2

Off for 70 days and now down 10lbs since pulling up over 17f on Soft, this 3m and better ground could bring out the best with Andrew taking over from his younger brother Robert..

Looks solid ew material Bill - agree with what you say about the ground. The only slight reservation I have is that David bass, his regular jock, has taken the ride on another.

TiptheOdds Grin That's right , he is sticking to his last time out winner who is up 8lbs for a win on Soft. I hope he's made the wrong Decision.

WD again Billy, I thought just for a minute that Bass might come and do us but Danny Cook gave him a good ride. Maybe they´ve finally found the secret of how to win with it (from the front).

Yes Mate  4-15 Sedge  13/2

Travelled well for a long way when out of the handicap for Leo's daughter the inexperienced Miss Sayer in a handicap hurdle here 9 days ago and now is switched back to fences with Henry Brooke who has been banging in the winners taking charge on this chestnut gelding who he has rode before. Yes Mate was running from 8lbs out of the handicap in his last chase over 3m3f and today's 2m4f and another 8lbs less could just do the trick..

Caryss Lad  Hunt 4-55  6/1

Has been off for 50 days but this good to firm ground will be more to his liking with his only win over similar distance on this ground. Started life in handicaps on 115 and this further drop of 5lbs to 75 should make this Jack the Lad a player this afternoon..

Ongoodform Kemp 8-50  NAP  2pts @ 4/1

Ongoodform could live up to to his name in the lucky last tonight, poorly drawn for the last two races here, but is better berthed this time and the plan will be to track the leaders and take it up in the final
furlong..

Kempes  Gold Cup  10/1

Kempes has a liking for quick ground dating back to his days on the Flat for Frances Crowley when he won the Ulster Derby. Now 8 yrs old this Willie Mullins trained and A P Mcoy ridden gelding could have too much speed for the old timers Denman and Kauto Star and the youngster Long Run who is a big danger might have to wait another year.

Any thoughts..

Good Luck today with Kempes, Think in the ground Midnight Chase look's to have a decent e.w. squeak, he need's to step up to figure but you would'nt rule that out.... I'll just be a spectator on what look's a intriguing renewal!! Nice winner last night, It was in many peole's note book on his last running, should have been on but my concentation was fixed on Cheltenham.
