Should of blew away a few cobwebs when finishing like a train after a slow start two weeks ago after a break of nine months, well drawn tonight to score second win over CD with decent young lad knocking off another 3lbs.
The plan will be to be out the box much quicker and held up just off the front and to hit the back of the net at the 90th minute.. |
|
By:
GL Billy, had a little dabble ew and dutched with Saucy Buck.Races dont get much worse than this so only minimal stakes, might have a rev fcast with both.[;)]
|
|
By:
Well done GT, I nearly read it right. Every horse I post runs well but comes up just short. Might be a time for a change of tact..[;)]
|
|
By:
Was a decent call Billy, did you trade it? I always put in for a short trade even if confident.[:D]
|
|
By:
No, I've never traded any of these bets. I just let them ride.
|
|
By:
Each to their own Billy, tbh I have no idea of the long term figures eg whether I would be better off not trading for insurance.Mostly do it just to cover stakes although i do arb when I consider a decent profit can be secured although always leave some to ride.
I always advise putting in a short ask if I tip one but I think that is as much worrying about one getting beaten and hoping at least anybody following doesnt get hurt if they secure a trade. |

Global Village Wolves 8-50 5pts @ 11/2 NAP |
|
By:
My biggest bet for a while runs in the lucky last at Wolverhampton tonight in the shape of Global Village who has an impressive strike-rate of five from nine wins in 7f Polytrack handicaps. Last win came over CD in April 2010 from the same draw as tonight off a mark of 75 when completing a hat-trick in class 5 handicaps.
GB has been off for 162 days but has won when fresh and started the first leg of the hat-trick after a break of 197 days and now down to a mark of 63 in this class 6 with Ryan Clark knocking off a further 3lbs, Versatile regards running style, but my guess he will set out to lead and then be up in the van as they say and bring home the beer to set me up nicely for my trip to Munich.. |

I make at about 7 points profit to level stakes stage 2, it seem's like your staking's a bit wrong Billy although long term it could work out best for you I don't know.
To me level stakes and e/w doubles are the way to go? ![]() |

Getting even harder billy.
TG, Wish my C*** was.. RF, I have upped my stake due to my bank. It's burning a hole in my pocket ![]() SOUBRIQUET 4-45 Perth 2pts @ 7/1 |
|
By:
The 8yr old Soubriquet is a winner of 6 races from 60 runs on ground ranging from good to heavy and distances from 2m to 3m and won this race last year by 23l off a mark of 113 with Ryan Mania claiming 3lbs and taking over from usual and today's rider Michael McAlister who has won on all the other five occasions.
Raised 12lbs for last years win, the mark has gradually dropped to today's 110 and the reported ground of good to soft could bring out lucky win number 7.. |

Gee Major won a quick fire double last summer at bath and I'm hoping history can repeat itself from the same draw as last weeks cosy win at Kempton. The plan will be to bounce out quickly and be up on the tails of the leaders and to take it up in the final couple of furlongs.. |

2 Singzak 4/1F 3 Turjuman 14/1 ![]() My PC has been off since I came back from the Octobefest, it is a fantastic event and the German's do it proud. The beer is 8-9 euros for a near two pints. As for Green Lightning, I didn't spend as near as much as I thought in Munich and my local bookies took the brunt of my returned beer money.. |

PASSION PLAY Wolv 9-20 3pts @ 4/1
The 7yr old PERTEMPTS NETWORK looks all the rage but in a race dominated by 3yr and 4yr olds the 3yr old PASSION PLAY makes her handicap debut after opening her account over today's trip at Kempton just over two weeks ago. This is only her fourth start and she may lead these a merry dance under Kieren Fallon. |
