Ellerslie Tom 4-30 Hereford 5/1 Alison Thorpe ran Ellerslie Tom over 19f here last time were she knew he would struggle over the last few furlongs resulting him to be dropped another 3lbs, he is now very well handicapped and if he can get his jumping act together he could run these off their feet on ground that will suit.. |

Hassanali who I have followed over a cliff has gone very close here at Dundalk the last twice, the manner of his running style always seems to bring interference and he got bags of it last time battling through a wall of horses to finish 3rd, btn 1th, a better draw of stall two could see slightly different tactics tonight with him held up a touch closer to the pace on the rail with Shane Foley replacing Kevin Manning and knocking off a valuable 3lbs.. |

Thought you were Unlucky last night with HASSANALI, Race was not ran to suit, with a stronger early gallop the gap's he was depending on would have came when he needed them, usually in a mile and a half contest there is not about a length covering the field at the 2 pole.... I would give him another chance Billy, if you think he will get an assured gallop.

Thanks Rob, my prediction for the new tactics looked to be working a treat until push came to shove, you are correct Hassanali's usual burst of speed wasn't there but there will be other days..
