oh and btw Drew music can only ever be judged on its merits, it has no nationality. there is just good music and bad imo and dont start with national anthems cos there is only one good one, the rest are all pale imitations :

who mentioned national anthems?

what is the strategy tomorrow-most popular picks?
By:
Fat Dodgy
When: 22 May 10 01:07
there is no strategy, personally i will take wot is put up here and use it in conjunction with my fancies, its a pointer, the thing is, if like last week there is a 28/1 shot winner i doubt we will find it as a collective majority, but we did find almost all the others so that helps greatly

Leg 1) Goodwood 2.15pm

Key Characteristics
Goodwood racecourse consists of a straight six furlong course which has a slight incline to start but then is all downhill towards the winning post. The 5 furlong course is one of the quickest in the country and races can be lost at the start if you are slowly away. Courses over further distances are uphill to start but then have this downhill finish. The undulations and sharp downhill finish mean that the course is quite sharp and tends to suit the nippy horse rather than the galloper.

Good 6f Number of runners: 9

I have had a quick look back over the last set of results at Goodwood and for the sprints 5 - 7f the results were as follows..

1 3 7 4 (7 ran 5f)
3 9 5 6 (9 ran 6f)
11 9 4 6 (11 ran 7f)
1 10 7 5 (11 ran 6f)
11 2 10 5 (10 ran 7f)
6 9 2 4 (8 ran 5f)

There seem to be a lot of high draws figuring in the results so will look for a high draw to find the winners hopefully,

HORSE GRAND TOTAL Draw

Leg 5) York 3.10pm

Key Characteristics
York really is a splendid course with a long run-in sweeping turns and virtually no undulations, making it a galloping horses dream. It is fair to every style of horse. There is also perfectly flat straight course on which all 5 and 6 furlong races are run. They appear to be pretty fair. However the perception was that in 2008 their was a bias favouring front runners, it will be interesting to see if that bias persists in 2009. Especially since a new irrigation and drainage system was introduced in time for the 2009 season. A factor that could also potentially affect the draw bias

HORSE      GRAND TOTAL Draw
Munsef        28.3        6
Age Of Reason 26.3        10
