Forrest Flyer in the 8.40, well in on my reckoning but ran really poorly end of last season, new trainer and the market will speak volumes as to its chances.

Bet you weren't expecting the Caledoniaphilian response to your statement about Scots music eh FD? We don't dislike Scots in the same way they despise us imo
![]() Time to study for once today so hopefully some smarter picks than normal. Cannot afford to waste this good weather though so will be off to the golf course this afternoon I think. |

I'm going to give these a try today
2.50 Cat Liberty Trail 4.0 Yar Angelina Poliziano 4.20 Cat Destiny's Dream Liberty Trail only beaten by an in-form horse last time (Fremen possibly not at its best though) and miles clear of the rest. Step back to 7f does not look against the horse and looks to hold a decent chance at current 7/2. Angelina Poliziano's lto run was very encouraging after a break, running on really well with no cover. Winner put up a fair performance at Warwick next time so at the prices this one looks the value to me (only Brynfa Boy's recent run at Newmarket looks as good as my selection - but this one is 5/2). Destiny's Dream won easily last time and trainer is in eyecatching form, even sendind a hurler out to run well yesterday. 7/4 at the moment looks a cracking bet. Good Luck ![]() |

Good morning,
Hope all good with you.. was up at 7.30am and feel like I have got nothing done, wanted to crack on with the Scoop 6 for tomorrow but ended up getting roped into rating a couple races for today, Anyway here they are and remember these are just my opinions and if I play it will only be small, Catterick 3.50pm.. Again these are just the rough ratings and you should make up your own minds. Catterick is a very sharp track, and like Brighton is certainly a racecourse for specialists. The round course is virtually downhill all the way from 7 furlongs out, and the 5 furlong races which start on a separate chute are also downhill all the way with the first furlong being quite an extreme downhill section. The course certainly doesn’t suit galloping types and is ideal for the small nimble horse. Right the top 2 rated are both course and distance winners so seeing it is a specialist track I will play these 2 in my selections, The * dnotes what are considered to be good draws (IMO) Makbullet could be one to watch but I will play the top 2.. GL. HORSE GRAND TOTAL Draw Mandalay King 17.1 2 Mr Wolf 13.1 7 Makbullet 14.1 8 Green Park 10.1 5 Gap Princess -0.9 1 Frognal -0.9 4* Sea Salt -11.9 6 * Cian Rooney -15.9 3 Good To Firm 5f212y Number of runners: 8 Chepstow 5.10pm Good To Firm 1m14y Number of runners: 9 Chepstow is a specialists track. Its undulations have to be seen in the flesh to be believed and they tend to unbalance the big long striding horse. These undulations appear to favour front running horses at the course, who with a clever jockey on board can change the tempo throughout the race. * dnotes what is considered a good draw for the distance and number of runners (IMO) HORSE GRAND TOTAL Draw Effigy 18.1 8* Addwaitya 9.1 2* Ogre 14.1 6* Ocean Transit 10.1 7** Jesse James 7.1 3 Satwa Laird 4.1 5 Southandwest 6.1 9 Aroundthebay -12.9 4 Roman Glory -33.9 1 Looking at the above my plays would be Ocean Transit W/P savers on Ogre and Addwaitya.. Reasons I think Ocean Transit may run a good race today, first the trainers record at this course reads as follows, Chepstow 5-30 17% +50.25 0-1 1-4 4-25 — 25% 16% -1.00 +2.50 +48.75 Jockey last 14 days Jim Crowley 3 - 21 14% +8.50 The horse has won at the course which is always a plus here and weight today 8-9 Again this is just my opinion and I could have it totally wrong and be shot down by Jesse James I also like Camerooney in the 7.40pm at Mussleburgh and Killing Moon in the 9.10pm (Hoping the jockey can keep the horse in a straight line this week).. Going to play Manadalay King / Ocean Transit and the above 2 in a Lucky 15 and hope to get at least 2 winners today.. Good luck if you have a play, Kirty (Also posted this on another thread) |

Hi Lester
Not going to lay that one on the other thread, am going to watch and learn for a bit. May be tempted to lay Jigajig later at Musselburgh tho. Why will Lee's Anthem for one not beat it. Dower Glen (a pig admittedly) is weighted to beat it as well after getting messed around last time. You can also make a case for a couple of others. 3.05 on here looks shocking value imo. |
|

Good afternoon all.
I agree with Kirty about Chepstow. Form from elsewhere doesn`t hold up there well. I am well aware of that over jumps, but keep forgetting about it on the fat. So I have gone and napped an odds-on shot there ![]() This is bad news as I have been locked in a TITANIC struggle with lester in Div 1 all month. |

Pretty confident Lester - think if anything I was more taken with the Newcastle run. Only thing I'd say is I'd rather Makin was back on.
