mate was in a pub good few years back and got chatting with a guy at the bar ,after a few pints the guy said to him do you not no my face from anywhere ,mate never bets so do not have a clue he was chatting to peter scudamore so when he finds out hes been chatting to a jockey he asks him has he got any tips ,scud gave him a horse for the next day trained by his brother in law or such .so later that night phones his dad up to tell him who he had met and the first thing his dad says was why didnt you get a tip off him you dickhead ,mates says i did that why i am calling you ffs ,horse won at 4/1 so his dad was a happy chappie
