there's loads of them democrat,they go top whack on everything and they are quite happy taking fivers and tenners,then somebody steps up and wants £200 each way,and because they cant trade away on machine,cos its gone they squiek NO BET.

there was a time last year when they tried exchange free days,it didnt really work because of a chosen few who refused to tow the line and carried on as normal.i know of certain books who refuse to bet if they dont have the exchange working.whe the exchange goes down it just reminds me of the good old days,(we bet far better,and everybody got their share)

while we are on wassy.these prices also should not be allowed.17/4 (3 3/4).13/1.15/1.17/1.18/1.19/1.22/1.i have noticed over the last 12 months or so how many horses are returning 18/1 or 22/1.these prices never used to exist(you should never go these prices)im just waiting for the day when one returns at 17/1.

It's a bit different @ Southwell when the winds blowing a gale and its lashing down - with 3 men and a dog - then the owners in the bar- who come out for a punt once a day

spirito.cheltenham was good in the good picks but the not so good ones the business was not very good,as for aintree a lot of the high numbers were moaning about the level of business and results(which is par for the course)

The irish market will change soon- i expect. The Dundalk market always interests me- and some of the irish gaffs at times - bet strong against some betfair favs

unfortuately democrat you are correct,people have told me stories about the good old days,if a new face turned up and he didnt tow the line with his prices they either burnt his satchel(with the readies still in it)or like at ponte they used to chuck everything and him in the boating lake.id love to do that with a few of them now.

Had well known scottish bookie betting next to us at cheltenham 2 years ago in best mate enclosure 19/10 44/10 53/10 67/10, punters bet with us because they couldnt work the odds out.
