Mr. Memory-what's the point of saving up for twelve months for my favourite race meeting of the year not to have an interest on each race? The point being raised has nothing to do with being a shrewd cookie. Don't be mard :-)
The fact still remains that after weighing up the rails against the tote dividends it was nonsensical to back with the bookies e/w on 17 out of 21 occasions. This has been a prevalent trend over the past few years especially since 1/5th to 1/10th has become commonplace.

Returned SP is the price the bookies can't lay one at, a lowest average of a carefully selected group of bookmakers who price up conservatively. You can easily beat the SP on course, unless you are a numpty.
