By:
yes pathetic rule it did not run so u should get ur money back. we know we wont coz the bookies are greedy tw@ts.
By:
yes :^0
By:
quite right, i backed it and knew my fate...any nice gesture from the bookies would be great but i dont expect anything.
By:
Personally, I think it should settled as a loser.
By:
so these bookies that are greedy tw@ts, are all betfair layers giving money back. get a life
By:
there was a new rule brought in this year allowing the starter to announce that a horse is withdrawn even if it has come under starters orders
By:
the horse did not run u d1ckweed , if a horse pulled out 2 mins before the race u would get ur money back, the horse lined up but did not run its a stupid rule to favour the bookies. if u dont agree then i guess ur a bookie.
By:
Of course it's a loser!!
If the 2 favs and numerous others refused to start and King Johns won you'd be the sort of fools that wouldn't want a rule 4 to apply either! |
By:
horse didnt run cos its a big fluffy yak.
youve done yer money, accept it and move on. |
By:
I backed it on betfair I dont want my money back
By:
How is it in favour of the bookie u idiot!? They'd much rather it won and beat the fav...
I thank my lucky stars that most punters r thick! |
By:
i see all the bookies are popping up ;)

SIR DEREK TROTTER 10 Apr 17:23
i see all the bookies are popping up ;) deal with it. |
By:
Bookie no, but your obviously a losing punter life time. The bookines will probably give you your money back as a concession. They wouldn't want to lose you as a customer
By:
It should be a loser. If not it means Bookies could apply a rule 4. I for one would be furious if I had backed a winner and they applied a 50p Rule 4 because the even money fav refused to run or leave the stalls. It was given the chance to run so is a loser.

By:
:^0 ha ha here they all come, i really dont give a toss either way , my main bet was state of play, just keep paying the winners and i,ll worry about my losers :^0
By:
Non-runner. Horse never has a chance of winning so money back and rule 4 may apply.
Refusing to run had a chance of winning never took it so losing bet but no rule 4. |
By:
u hav just shown your utter ignorance!
If it had been the only horse they had taken money on it would favour the bookie. They would rather it had run given the result. If u do not understand this then please be quiet. This kis an adult forum. |
By:
of course it was, i had the tricast aswell.
silyl trotter. |
By:
it is the rules so fair enough not getting your cash back but it is a a complete sham
no way you should lose your money in that situation |
By:
Horse never had a chance of winning if it had been a too horse race! What's it matter if you lose your money after onw second or one minute? :)
By:
or even a two horse race..... long day!
By:
no wickett ur missing the point im afraid, never mind u have ur point of view and i,ll have mine. imo only a mug would bet with a bookie.
if ur willing to lay it on ere at a good price then fair play to the layers. |
By:
Its a loser, no money should be given back imho.
He approached the flag. Tape went up and horse REFUSED. |
By:
The look on Arthur Moores face though :^0
By:
I'll agree I'm right! I don't mind the rule... What happens when a horse has a history of doing it? It's factored into the price....
At the end of the day, they are the rules. You know this when u place a bet... Noone is holding a gun to your head... 'Mine fell - I want my money back';!!! Same thing! |
By:

By:
I take it a few on this thread work for rival firms to VC and JC, are licking their wounds after a shocking result and don't want to give any back. I wouldn't want to work in a shop that wasn't refunding ... :-)
By:
