Just the 3 handicaps until final decs Fab
 How about all 10 of them,looks a minefield from this end. Without exchanges to lighten the burden,how many of theses multiple entries would exist ? Is it getting to the stage where something has to be done ? Perhaps an added fee for extra entries needs to be explored.When horses are being entered for up to half a dozen races,over a variety of distances,with different marks in both codes,it cannot be good for the festival long term. The argument re different owners in yards wanting to have a runner is valid,thats not the issue. Just how many smaller yards will be denied a runner in handicaps,due to these multiple entries from some yards,some of which are not always there on merit. Life long fan of the established handicaps,inherent part of every festival,along with the grade 1 races. As it stands the handicaps are becoming less appealing every year,something I would never dreamed of saying a few years back. |

Yeah Noc, some of the multiple entries make it very difficult, every trip, Hurdles, fences, Handicaps, Graded Races for some of them.
I bloody love the Handicaps, but got to draw the line somewhere. Harry, had a look at Ultima, but I’d be putting up a shortlist of 10+ at this stage. |

Ignore my ramblings Fab,getting a little twitchy watching this garbage thrown out on every news channel. All of this should have taken place BEFORE people came back from infected areas.As for washing your hands for an Airborne infection ..... poor old chinese were told masks,should have been wearing gloves according to our lot.Hopefully we will get there tuesday,huge week for everybody who loves and follows the sport.Punting aside,the chance to see the best horses we have from both sides of the water. I was a regular until it went 4 days,would not have missed one Festival in many years,that feeling turning up on the Tuesday,anybody thats been will know,just magical. Need one on the board early Fab,I have full faith in your ability to find a 12 yr old maiden in the Ultima who,s form has been hidden since novice company  48 hr decs might be our only saving grace,going to be some very late nights. |

Not alone Fab ..... just the 50 left.
10 minutes on each one adds up to over 8 hrs work. I do not have that luxury,nor do many other punters,thats my thinking with the handicaps at the moment. The multiple entries are killing it at source,nobody in their right mind can have a clue who is running against who,complete lottery as things stand. Add in the ground,headgear,claimers,pace etc ......... not for me as we stand. I now wait for final decs for every single one,not Ideal,surely it must be affecting ante-post betting ? |

i have been backing one of those in the list you mention just for small stakes gunna have a few more quid today but am probably gunna back 3 of which i expect one to not get inthe 3 just to make me look a tit are rock the kasbah, kildisart and the one i've punted for a few quid cloth cap but doubt he'll get in |
