Can I just clarify the maximum stake for non Cheltenham Races, is it 3pts per selection, or 3 pts per race, and is there the usual pts limit for other races. Can I just clarify the maximum stake for non Cheltenham Races, is it 3pts per selection, or 3 pts per race, and is there the usual pts limit for other races.
The intention of a limit is to avoid someone simply getting lucky and putting down 10pts win on a horse. So a points limit per horse makes sense, as it would also reflect reality of getting a bet on for stakes wanted. For that reason a limit per race is an unnecessary constraint imv, I don't see an issue with someone having 5 horses backed antepost for Cheltenham in the same race. A horse could get injured, or be going for another race and you can't bet on the race as you've already maxed out the limit? Most people would write that off as a loss the moment that happened and the race becomes a betting one again. So it's 6pts per selection at Cheltenham.
