indeed roo, he looked all over the winner, I thought he lost it at the line myself, some trainer that boy.
Anyone have any thoughts on The Young Master's running? Normally he is up with the pace, but here he was held off it and came with a run far too late, its either a poor ride by the jockey (another) or it was the plan, maybe saving him for the big Aintre fences? in regards the young master mac whom a drift occurred in the hennessy and here i agree races in the future may well be the plan, he is still a young horse but annoying for those following his progress financially...the stumps were pulled for me here as i smelt a rat and had a decent bet on him at newbury...i will be following his progress but am finding him hard to place at present... i thought the hennessy was the ideal race for him and he seems quite young to win a national so it just isn't going to be easy to follow him blind from a form perspective |

yes, he will not be easy to follow harry. Given the connections history I'd be surprised if we don't see him over the big fences, maybe not the big one this year but one of the others, I agree bit young.
