Any opinions on Always Waining for this years national-been backing on here for a few quid weekly over the last month but unsure whether to have a decent bet before weights.

Is Sir Tom having a peek here for his AP cheltenham bets?
![]() After Oscars & WT, I wonder if next in line will be Flight Lft. & Hidden Cyclone Good luck to him & other backers |

pebbles...i've put him up the last 2 yrs for the topham @66s and i think 40s last yr....
so i fookin love him....and have been doing the same as you....also had a bit e/w @ 50s wiv sids... hopefully his 2 wins get him into the race this yr with a bit of the aintree factor bumping up his mark.... given good ground....i would love to see him get into his rhythm...and see how far he can go. |
|
By:
He's probably following you given your form besty
![]() Bet he tips up FL,given the chances of HC running. When is he doing the RSA? |
|
By:
Did him last year too trev but that was prob just following you given the previous year!!
Thought ran really well in the autumn and wouldn't it be great to see him motoring up to the elbow again given decent ground.Just seems decent value on the assumption he gets in this year. ![]() |
|
By:
on good ground he's a different horse around there....and i could easily see him going clear....as he jumps it so well...would be the longest last mile if he was in front
![]() waiting to see if he lasts home or not |
|
By:
Doubt he'l get in, at least i know who im standing him to

adding him now aswell Pebbs. Not been overly impressed with his jumping so far and I think he'll have his work cut out to reverse form with Last Instalment who i've already backed on here at 12/1, but if LI does not run (same owners) then the 20's will disappear in a heartbeat.
RSA - First Lieutenant 1pt Win 20/1, lads. |

Agreed sint-partly loyalty on my part after last year
![]() I'd rather have FL onside at the mo |
|
By:
yep, couldn't be fancying Bobs Worth or Silvianco. Join Together looks half decent but think he'd be better in the 4 miler tbh. Grand Crus far too short. Stick with the Giggins horses who have a good recent record in the race.

1 pt win al ferof 9/1 nrnb 365 pn still insists he will go arkle....but a win tomm and he goes shorter in the qm betting 5/1 i would imagine....and just maybe they get tempted given how strong the arkle could be. j.hales interview in the post today....was pretty clear they would be looking to uping him for the gold cup next yr.... so with that in mind....they may just think fukkk it and go qm. |
|
By:
see what you saying, but if they think he is a GC horse they'll want to look after him ? imo. Personally think he'll finish in the first 3 or 4 tomorrow and it'll be a nice prep for the Arkle tbh. We'll see innit.2.35 Ascot 1.5pt ew Shoreacres 7/1, PP. Hoping to recoup funds invested from the Grand Annual last season. ![]() |

By:
They might even go Jewson IF they want to avoid SS & PC. Jewson looks ideal for him imo.
