cheers HM. I am firmly in the French camp & it appears that there is still life in my Vadamar venture

Pour Moi has easily the best sectionals of any of the contenders and like Cryoftruth I would make him favourite should he run. The figures for Recital and Carlton House are not up to standard.
By:
Ha ha good one and very funny as bookies and the whole planet (except you) predict Carlton House goes off odds on.
By:
There have been nibbles at Frankel today wonder if they are having a rethink. That is the only way possible that Carlton House doesnt start favourite if Frankel turns up. What a massive race it will become once HRAC realises running with the choke out against older milers Canford Cliffs and Goldikova is not going to be successful for Frankel or give him anything but a short career.

Spoilsports have just cut Pm from 12 straight into 6/1. Even for a bunch of flimpers that's a violent market move.

Ha ha good one and very funny as bookies and the whole planet (except you) predict Carlton House goes off odds on. It should be obvious to anyone with half a brain (except you clearly) that what I meant was that PM would be favourite in MY book |
By:
i still have my doubts on breeding for carlton house to stay a true fast run derby, forget yesterday my gran could have got that 10 furlongs in her wheelchair

By:
Funny guys.

Think Frankel could turn up now.
By:
Hope Frankel will turn up now
So someone's hoovered up about £50 worth of 30 to 40/1 and that represents 'nibbles'! ![]() |

"I will talk to the owners and make a decision in the next week, but the Dante winner was impressive," said Pour Moi's trainer, Andre Fabre.

More money for PM today. Seems to be the only horse punters want to back. Single figures all round by close of play imo.
By:
Sounds from that quote from the trainer like he wont be turning up.
By:
Meanwhile, doubts have surfaced over whether French challenger, Pour Moi - as low as 8-1 for the Investec-supported race - will make it to Epsom.
"I will talk to the owners and make a decision in the next week, but the Dante winner was impressive," said Pour Moi's trainer, Andre Fabre. |
By:
Fabre is no mug he knows how good Carlton House looked there.
By:
Unlike Henry and Teddy, eric, who are very positive we'll see Frankel at Epsom.
![]() |
By:
Obviously not Fabre's money that's smashing this good thing off the boards then, old boy.....and we've clearly ruled you out too.
Wonder who could be steaming in??? |
By:
Put it this way ... dont get too excited
![]() |
By:
It doesnt take much to shorten them up with those bookies.
By:
Frankel won't turn up. Henry Cecil has been saying all winter and all spring that Frankel won't get the trip. Cecil never planned to run him in the Derby. Cecil will not have trained him since the Guineas to stay one and a half miles.
By:
Your excited about 20 quid being matched on Frankel here and there but Pour Moi 20s to 6-1 is nothing much??
By:
bit of a flimsy review on channel 4.
francome - yeah won it well. carried himself well, can see him comming around epsom and winning with any amount in hand. :o |
By:
Clearly Pour Moi 1 dart eric hasnt thrown(yet) & clearly missed the price.
With Frankel & World Domination in his arrow chucking portfolio hes clearly got the inside line to what will & wont run in the Derby. Just seen the replay of Pour Mois win. Very impressed. Would go off a 2nd fav behind Carlton if given his chance. |
By:
Still believe that the 10s with Laddies represents the best value in this market.
I'll be pleased when Fabre confirms and ends this will he, won't he nonsense. Of course he is going to run! |
By:
Major form boost with Praire Star winning the Hocquart today....
Very pleasing. |
By:
Fabre's Grande Vent had eveyrchance too but was not good enough.
By:
It was also a form boost for Recital. Recital thumped him in France at the end of last season. However, that was on heavy ground.
By:
Next target for Grand Vent?
IMV Grand Prix de Paris on 14 July |
By:
Prairie Star's connections are talking GP de Paris as his next target:
By:
“I was very pleased with Pour Moi last week,” Fabre told Press Association Sport.
“I thought he gave a very good feeling to everyone with the way he quickened up. “We haven’t made a decision yet on where he is going to run next. “I imagine one will be made in the coming week.” |
By:
No! Poor value.
Carlton House and Seville have the best form in the race by a long way. Godolphin messed Casamento up by running him in the Guineas otherwise he would have been a big player. |

The next time you are allowed on this thread is to apologise, 'Mayweather'.
'Til then - off. |

Headmaster..you appear to have forgotten the word feck in your last post.

If he ran and fingers crossed he does. Will the boy Barzalona keep the ride? Dont think the Sheik is that spiteful to put pressure on the lad.

was the actual link and very interesting too - thank you bobbyjoe. Very interesting that Fabre has decided to ship Pour Moi over to Epsom in MAy to get him used to the track and the travel. |
By:
Yes sorry for cutting it in half!
Certainly augurs well for a tilt at the Derby. Interesting that the young lad looks like keeping the ride as well |
By:
Looks like a runner, subject to traveling over ok and taking to the track. i would say 2-1 on, to go for the derby.current price of say 8-1, is about right at this moment.imo.
