Ignore the Susp bit. These are laddies odds and they are still live, as I just placed a bet on Quel Esprit.

reasosn are ..

He jumped great on his debut, the trip looks plumb at this stage of his career, the form has been franked twice by Torphicen, and also on aline through Noble Prince.

Blazing Tempo also represents Mullins. She has been a new aquisition for the yard and so far she has looked top class. But IF she runs in the (also has another engagement in a Mares race) she will be taking on the boys and needs to improve.

MDH - taking a risk here but not toally sure he will run. And even if he does, who wants to back ? He did bounce last time, but there was more to it than that imo, he jumped to his right and hung, why not just give him an easy assignment somewhere before trying for a Grade 1 again?!

Quito De La Roque is a class horse, but he needs a real test of stamina, usually on Heavy ground, and this trip is short of 3 miles.

Magnanimity - won last time out and is lightly raced, but was in receipt of weight from Jessies Dream and was a fortunate win that day, as Jessies Dreams jumping let him down badly on the final circuit and he jumped right at the last fence costing him a precious few lengths, and was only beat half a length at the finish.

The rest dont look good enough imvho.

Taking a risk as the race is still 2 weeks aways, and you can never be sure a horse will run, but the race looks tailormade for QE to my mind so chanced it.

Still keen on the 5/1 about Mikael - He'd have been 6/4 if he stood up in the Drinmore and how people can be writing him off after just one below-par run in his entire career baffles me. He'll be 5/2 if he lines up and Willie states that he's very likely to.

Trainer cant train novices to jump fences as shown again today so wouldnt be surprised it would be an easy cop out for him.

Quel Esprit and Mikael Dhaguenet are evens to turn up, so that would price them up at 6/4 and 2/1 on the day.

If Willie is aiming both at the RSA, then one of them will run at Gowran and the other will run in the DR PJ Moriarty!

yes... but it's a mistake taking a price now. I would rather get a pt less and know my horse was turning up.

Well QE was the only one enterred for the Gowran race the last time. I guess we'll have a better idea tomorrow!

Some horses make natural chasers, others may need extra help like Long Run whose jumping was average last season but absolutely transformed this after I took the mick that they revealed they didnt school him then. They have made an effort to improve his jumping in the indoor school as revealed by Waley-Cohen and to their absolute credit have come up trumps this season he has been excellent compared to last. Does Mullins do anything if, like Long Run, they are not naturals that fall in their lap as novice chasers. It would not surprise me one bit if he just cops out and sends them back over hurdles rather than improves them to win a King George which Mikael D'Haguenet has the engine to be a major contender for next season.

You all just listen to pocket talking Fkwit CVByrne and ignore me.

Given QE has an additional entry for Gowran I suggest people dont back it, just to be safe ...

another stupid comment from Eric. Flat Out lost today eric because he went from a beginners chase into a Grade 1 within 2 weeks. He was short on the experience needed for a top race.

By:

When: 23 Jan 11 20:18
Lets get this right, you thought Long Run was a natural jumper last season when he hit fences throughout the RSA. They did masses of work in the indoor school with him because he was a natural and you know better. Is that right?
By:
ChildOfMine2

People are blocking you Morris cos you talk sh1te and are just here to try and rise people! And you know the least about racing here than 90% of us judged by your comments.

he doesnt act as well around cheltenham,go on to rp site and look at his run in feltham,it is on the same day as king george norm 26th dec
By:

3 mistakes in the Feltham, a mistake in the Kingmaker, 2 or 3 mistakes in the RSA.

1 slight mistake the PPower and none in the King George.

Are you sure you believe what you are saying here?

I would say the indoor schooling has improved his jumping vastly already, will Mullins do this with none natural novice chasers in his care, especially the ones, like Long Run, with vast engines.
