In the paper tomorrow. Any clues? i though he might go Tocca Ferro or be tempted to stay with Final Approach, a winning tip for him last time

as said in post on other forum, is get me out of here not running off same mark as when winning same race 12 months ago? hasnt impressed in runs this season but trainer says has had minor problem with back/hock (and some could think handicap mark to be protected?) if has in fact progressed nicely as supreme form has (menorah, oscar whisky) could it not win this then become a live champion hurdle contender?

Thats two in a week - backed Flat Out at 16/1 for the Arkle and had 10/1 on Tocca Ferro for the Totesport Cry

Thats really bad luck, final approach must have a fair chance now, but Mr Mullins other one, call the police was only just behind him in the MCR, I don't see why he is such a big price price, or is he is a doubtful runner?

Ante-post favourite Tocca Ferro has been ruled out of the totesport Trophy at Newbury as well as the rest of the season after meeting with a setback.

Emma Lavelle's six-year-old impressed on his first two starts of the campaign at Ascot and Newbury, but has suffered a leg injury after working at Kempton on Tuesday.

"Tocca Ferro is out for the season and is suffering from a small tear in a tendon," said Lavelle.

"He worked very well at Kempton on Tuesday and I'm absolutely gutted."

Walkon and Final Approach are the new 7/1 joint-favourites with the sponsors for the Newbury race.

Walkon had been 8/1 second-favourite after his encouraging reappearance at Ascot over the weekend whilst Final Approach was a strong 10/1 shot following his victory in the MCR Hurdle at Leopardstown.

"Tocca Ferro's absence from the t0tesport Trophy is a real kick in the teeth for antepost punters who had lumped on and it now seems that Alan King holds all the aces with both Walkon and Salden Licht prominent in the market," said t0tesport spokesman George Primarolo.

t0tesport Trophy - sponsors bet: 7 (from 8) Walkon, 7 (from 10) Final Approach, 9 (from 10) Salden Licht, 10 (from 12) Get Me Out Of Here, Notus de la Tour, 12 Others

The weather forecast is for it to remain totally dry and cold for the next 2-3 weeks so the going could be very much on the quickish side - haven't gone through the runners yet to see who this might beneift or inconvenience but it should help narrow the field down a bit.

Call The Police now 20, but no one seems interested in it. Final Approach on the drift too. Looks like Walkon and Salden Licht are the popular choices.

Iolith has a lovely racing weight.

The race looks quite top heavy with a lot of the classier horses carrying 11-6 or more.

Surely last year's winner is looking very good for this?

Runs this season have been too bad to be true. Ascot was 'strange' shall we say, the Greatwood run ended over 20 lengths behind a horse it had run so close in the Supreme. Menorah has progressed, but not over 20 lengths.

Absolutely convinced that a huge run is on the cards. 11.5 right now looks huge to me.
