Two best lists now on 245 and 244. The 244 list however doesn;t have a King George candidate since Imperial Commander pulled out.

I wish they'd update the scores.

Picked up three winners yesterday, but not the three I needed as Solwhit could have made the difference. Hopefully he can still pinch a race if he's placed well. Seems like the plan for HF is three races before Chelts!
Anyhow, if KS does the biz I'm hopeful of having two live lists come subs. |

The leaderboard has been updated
|

The Fly will run in the Irish Champion before the festival and quite possibly Punchestown afterwards(although that has no bearing for this comp) and will win all of these. WM is after the perfect season a la Sea the Stars with this one. Anyone who doesn't have Hurricane Fly on their list can forget it

4 way tie for the month. Well done tony tiger. Are there any dangers tomorrow?
I've managed 26th place with 156. Starting to get more excited about the overal comp. Still think I'm a horse short (and it might be Pandorama), but subs will offer some hope come Chelts. |

559th here.

Around about 123rd overall with best list.

Thanx for your kind words. Bottled it really, used my winnings off Pandorama(£1.400) to lay Big Zeb, and back Punchestowns....if it wins i can't win the tentofollow! Thank god for Pride of Dulcote.
Then couldn't look at the leaderboard.........felt sure someone would beat me! Forced a look this morning :) |

WP TT.
It was only £10k when I won it. ![]() |

I shared my only win with 30+ others.

Well done TT; nice win on Pandorama too!
This month should shake up the overall standings with reshedualed King George and xmas hurdle and the festival trials day at the end of the month. I am currently nestled just under 5000th place with some nice prospects yet to score! |

I realise now I should be grateful I only shared with 3 others! My best list is 253rd with 233 points. |

My win was solo.
I think I won by 5pts. |

Well done, tony tiger. What a nice way to start the new year. Enjoy your winnings.

That's just the way the cookie crumbles. It was the York prize and I had already given up hope, so in a way it was a pleasent surprise. Enjoy it tony.

Seems that Big Bucks heads for the festival and then Aintree, while Solwhit lines up against HF in the Ire Champ later this month and then will be saved for Aintree too.

More news:
Menorah goes direct to the festival. Binocular will take in the Christmas hurdle at kempton and the Sandown race he won last year. Masterminded runs in the VC Chase before the festival. Long Run being talked up again! If it did actually win the KG it could really open up the comp. |
|
By:
All the above good news for me. Where did you hear the Binocular update?
|
|
By:
Dont worry, seen it myself on sportinglife website
|
|
By:
Fail to see how Long Run winning will open up the comp when the leaderboard is littered with him in entries...
|
|
By:
Well, in as much as he's 2nd most popular, therefore, a major blow out for a lot of entries, but of course wouldn't matter to those near the top that have him too. He would definitely swamp me off the leaderboard. KS crucial to my chances.

This comp is a weeding out process - most people eventually get weeded out by virtue of not having the main point scorers and this doesn't become evident usually until January e.g. after the King George etc.
There will be plenty of people high up in the comp at the moment, who will not have either or both of Kauto Star / Long Run, and those guys could well fall down the list a bit, if either of those win. We've got a prominent list with both in, so we're hopeful. We also have our 2nd placed list with Imperial Commander, who sadly does not run. |

All hotting up this week.
I really hope it's on. ![]() |

This weekend, wins for Binocular, Kauto Star / Long Run (1st and 2nd in King George in either order) and Golden Silver would do me very nicely!
|
|
By:
Big weekend. KS win would be most welcome.
GS is doing what I suspected: moping up the races without BZ. Just don't want to see Long Run amongst the points (even though I have him permed). |
|
By:
For me it's one of those weekends where i'm not sure who i want to win?
Have both Kauto and/or Long Run in most of my main lists Binocular would of been nice last month as i would have won the £20,000 solo! Looking at monthly leader board..... The leaders look vunerable with 2 bonus races coming up. |
|
By:
Still a bit early to be looking at individual lists, as a couple of (possibly unexpected) winners could bring other lists into contention. I just lok for any of my horses to pick up points irrespective of which list their in, and then hope to hit the right combination.

Binocular picks up 25pts.

That's more like it!

First points of 2011 here from Binocular.

Pooh.
KS would have propelled me into top 50. Have Long Run, but permed with Poquelin. Two zeros, so can still make the subs count, but that might be as good as it gets. ![]() |

I'll wait for the table to go up.

I have Binocular and Long Run in all my lines (along with every one else!) but also had Riverside Theatre and James De Vassy today in a couple. Hoping to be in the mix now with my best lines.
