just got back, no racing plenty of snow ice and fog, managed to get out visited harrogate,skipton, ripon thirsk and had a full day in york. young farmers had their annual do on saturday, nice quiet well behaved young people
saw 2 or 3 land rovers behind towed from hedges and ditches on sunday morning |

i know i have managed to prove in the
past that i'm not the brightest but can someone explain why suarez is being crucified and castigated in the press and on tv, fergie is saying he shouldn't play again, he is almost singlehandedly being blamed for racism in sport yet i have not seen or heard a single word against ferdinand who did exactly the same in not offering his hand to suarez, of course he could have been reacting to what suarez did, but that doesn't make it right imo. |

I think the whole business reflected badly on Liverpool, Suarez and Dalglish - who was once a hero of mine.
A profesional board - headed by a highly paid QC found Suarez guilty of racism, and yet he refused to shake Evra's hand which would have settled the matter to a great degree. Ferdinand was quite right to do what he did in light of that - as would any of his colleagues, no matter what colour of skin they had. The t-shirt thing at Wigan was childish and insulting, a bad decision by Dalglish. It's to the credit of the Liverpool owners - they have taken much criticism on other matters - that they have pulled those two into line. Mind you, Fegie loves any chance to stir the pot. Anyone fancy a pint at Donny on the DTFS? |
