Just backed a couple in the Oaks for an early interest (already on YBM from last season)
Principal Role and Timepiece. Both well regarded by Cecil, he's the master trainer and they will go off a lot shorter due to connections after bolting up in their trials. B-) |

I wasn't tipping anything as such, was just recording my thoughts and posting possible lays for the day ahead as an experiment.
There were 5 for the day and all were favourites but after the first 2 won, I took the posts down just in case it was gonna cost some poor soul money. Just as well cos after the next 2 lost, the last one won too so 3 winners out of 5 lays :( |
|
By:
i say, give it a go B-)

The trouble is when picking them in the morning and putting them up by 12 noon like I did and was gonna do, I wasn't necessarily going to be laying them depending on the shape of the market like I had explained previously.
So because of that, I thought I would save people money and hassle but if you want, I'll do it again as a guide ! |

ROUND 1 UPDATE (8:48 a.m.) -- Surprising news just as the first round gets under way from the Redstone Course -- defending champion Paul Casey has withdrawn from the event due to injury.
Bob Stevens reports: Casey tweaked a muscle in his back -- near his left shoulder -- in Wednesday's pro-am. Casey said it was not related at all to the chest muscle he hurt late last season, that he hoped it was a "sleeping wrong" kind of tweak. Casey's spot was filled by Nationwide Tour graduate Steve Wheatcroft. Rod Pampling also withdrew before the first round. He was replaced by Andrew McLardy. The first round of the Shell Houston Open is set to begin. Here's a look at Thursday's round: Better be ok fo de Masters :| |
