i watched you run 6 times last year
you're only modest that's pretty clear
i've checked out your breeding , it seems ok
i'm sure you can win a race one day

CCK.....Never had the pleasure to meet you mate but I know Stan would love to meet you.
We have always enjoyed your lyrics (personally took a few on the chin!) and it makes owning horses a pleasure when you write kind words about a wonderful horse. I bought him as a 4 year old from NZ and he has spent every summer with me since. On retirement Aidan will take him back to Ireland as he really loves the horse. Likely to be his last run on Thursday so would love to invite you up to Aintree (badges available) to say goodbye to the old boy in person. Do I leave 2 passes at O&T under the name of Custard Cream Kid ??....cheers, Paul Beck |

We all thought he would stay further even VW hence his National entry last year.
Did him no favours moving him this year, my stupid mistake and he has simply slowed up and has not looked like getting 2m 5 let alone further so lets bring him back to where it all started. Off 10 stone jump him off as he is a wonderful jumper and see what happens.....we are having a drink or two on Thursday evening before he goes over to Ireland to live out his days with Aidan and his family. Shame you cannot make it Thursday....or can you...come on !!! |

Sadly i can't make it but i will have a few bottles of 'becks' thursday evening so i'll
be there in spirit . If you are interviewed on tv before the race and can drop the words CUSTARD CREAM into the conversation i will donate £ 100 to the injured jockeys fund . |

Seriously the thread is what the forum is about as it has made me laugh and wince with embarassment It is about opinions but every now and then it is lovely to laugh and trust me I have laughed.....will have to print off the best threads and put in a frame in the loo alongside a few pictures of Stans better moments. |
