Memphis 150 for the Mcnair Miracle

I've decided I'm going to go this year and get involved.
It's a long time since I bet Thorn Falcon and I suppose I'm thinking that it may refresh my memories of the glory days when going to the various tracks took precedence over pretty much everything! So may well see some of you guys there. The 8 heats of the last 48 and the 1/4 finals and see how things are going ante post after that. That's the plan anyway. |

Would like to do the 48 Slip but Doubt I will , Best nights racing of the year , that and the Irish 48
Its the only derby we have might as well get on Board Looking at some of the 150 Chances Memphis would be long odds on to beat a lot of them , hope he goes a couple of rounds for Liz and Rab he can't win but will get a lot of Support from the Neutrals , great old dog Seen an ew Type but has not ran for a while , Injured or rest is the question |

I've booked up for the 3rd round of the last 48, May 16th.
£45.00 p.p. in the restaurant for a three course pub grub type deal which is fine. I haven't been to a meeting since the last night @ Crayford and I'm actually really looking forward to it now. |

Does anyone know what dogs Graham Holland is bringing over this year?
Would be great to see the likes of Bockos Diamond, Cheap Sandwiches etc have another crack at it |
By:
Looks like Bockos Diamond hasn’t raced or trialled for months, so it looks unlikely you’d think?

My younger brother lives in a little village 25 miles from the track so I can crash out there and drive back to South East London in the morning. If it wasn't for that I most probably wouldn't bother t.b.h.

once the account is restricted goddess its forever it seems....i have not had an online bet with ladbrokes for over 15 years and recently looked to have a bet on a football game and was still restricted to pennies....i was more surprised the account was still open to be truthful but it must be a case of computer says no becaus as a trading decision it makes no sense...

Four times English Derby winning trainer Nick Savva passed away on Thursday aged 91.
One of the very best in my lifetime. R.I.P. |
By:
THE VERY BEST
By:
...Yes RIP, certainly knew his way around a dog, on another note I was at Aldetshot flapping track back in the 80s and there was a rumour he had one of his in the Derby final, I would love to know if he actually did flap his dogs.?
By:
* Aldershot.
By:
RIP Great trainer
By:
Nick and the westmead prefix will remain part of british greyhound history well beyond out times and deservedly so....Nick and Charlie Lister were the stand out trainers in a 20 year golden period....Derby kings the pair of them....pleased he lived to a good age...RIP...
By:
Apart from the Westmead dogs i was at Hackney one night in 1990 when Paul Thopsett had his derby dog having a run called Our Dog Ned who went off favourite...looked a nice first race for him....another unraced dog was in the race Phantom Flash....left Ned for dead and went on to win the Scottish Derby....Nick was not too shy about keeping things under wraps so I would not be surprised if he did send some out to the flaps Glasgow....
By:
A legend of the sport. Was lucky enough to see both Hawks derby campaigns. Breeding owes a lot to his operation. RIP
By:
Flash was a fine Greyhound winj, was also 3rd in irish derby when favourite, didnt want be drawn in 3 , can remember loads of westmead dogs from back in the day
By:
I'd be amazed if he didn't flap. Absolute legend of the sport.
