Bejaysus!  Shades of Camira Flash.  And Heiress bags the plum draw.  It is horrible!

Not a word ( that I can see ) on Talking Dogs about it. Poor, poor journalism for me.
Why hide from it?  If rules have been followed properly why not explain it to us all, openly?
Where did the said interference take place?  Was it passing the line at race end?  The I.G.B. Video is very average and it is difficult to see.

Slightly clearer video on Greyhound Recorder website, unfortunately the dog clearly had a couple of goes a few yards from the line, stewards had no choice really.

Thanks Lester.  I agree about the DQ “no choice” but the Heiress advancement is a joke.

i am betting magical mag, not because i done my cash on her last week, last week is irrelevant but i think the pacy dogs may get into trouble and i will take my chance at the price, but i think she will lead and open up

Why is it a joke? Rules were known before the event started were they not? Lucky heiress is through or else we would be looking at 4's on fav for the race

The RULE is a Joke , if the dog impeded Heiress Fair Enough

Say the first 3 home all started Fighting , Couldnt happen ,  but then we would have 4th 5th and 6th in Final is that how it Works ?

As stated hope all Dogs safe and Sound  after the Final , and all fully tested

You’re right.  It’s no joke.  It’s real.  Heiress didn’t qualify ( like Camira Flash ).  Hope it sleeps like Luka.  And, as nanny so properly says, that they all come off sound.

In fact, if it crosses the line first I sincerely hope that the SPk crowd have already started booing.

Boo! That made me remember many moons ago, Me and some mates owned Baston Bronze at Catford, won A2 by 10, done 3482, booing started from 3rd bend, was louder than our big mouth cheering, was so funny, we went in The Copperfield pub and drunk Champagne, we had it right off Laugh

Fairly extreme for a greyhound race? One would presume you have either laid Heiress or backed another finalist. The rule might not be correct, but it has not suddenly been made up, was known before the event started so not sure why such a reaction to it?

What has been a "joke" though is certain irish handlers taking hours to load a dog into the traps. Either incompetent or cheating...

think most people agree it should be a 5 dog final or the original 6 w/o the DQ

Ah ok, so just make the rules up as they go along type of thing? Nothing amateurish about that at all...

You, of course, are entitled to think ( and presume ) whatever you want.  Laugh.
FYI, and everybody else’s I have no betting interest in the Final and have had one bet during the competition.
So try again Sherlock.
Been there too Deptford.  The miscreant was De Mulder the son and the barrage of booing saw him bottle it and decline to attend the trophy presentation.
Finally, I repeat that if Heiress wins the final I hope they boo the place down.

Can never read top flight Irish racing.  I do hope Sandwiches wins the Derby though.  Happy that Glengar starts on his inside but he’ll need to be at his very best imo.

Bottom dam line goes all the way back to the Ballinderrys and Skipping Chick and blue blood coursing greats.  I love to see that.
Now for De Lahdedah.  A win from him would be terrific too.
