The more I look at this comp. the more I like the chances of Proper Heiress.  Stays rails and there are so many middles left in.  Can go all the way and hope to bag Tp 1 in the final.  Ballymac Stud has an Achilles heel in his trapping but his pace from line to the first bend is massive and he races the bends so well.  Still improving, I like him too.  And I still have Cheap Sandwiches from my original three.  Even saying all of this I would still love to see Lahdedah win it. A great greyhound.
Hope there are no mishaps or injuries tomorrow.  We’ve had enough !

I had just assumed that conns. had him seeded rails.  Am I wrong? Needs to fall out like Rnd2 and then get a break.  Sandwiches?  If they all go down together the concertina effect might catch him out.  Hope not.  The way he runs that second bend is special.  Would love to see both fight out the final.

I get it.  They’re all seeded rails even though they mostly run middle.  The object being not to draw t5.  Then a true railer in the race gets t5!

Fairly extreme for a greyhound race? One would presume you have either laid Heiress or backed another finalist. The rule might not be correct, but it has not suddenly been made up, was known before the event started so not sure why such a reaction to it?

enjoyable night  never made any money, the soup was brilliant in restaurant, she bet a few winners on tote at the home meeting but a bit depressing to see only 2 books, one just betting without in Dublin

one thing I will say the service and facilities were outstanding we had an auld lad in a wheelchair with us, and we couldn't have been better looked after so I skip my hat to IGB on that, there is definitely a product there for decent night out

Nanny I sold my house In Dublin 5 years ago and moved to Donegal, regarding Betting market in Lifford last night you could easy get a monkey on at 6/4 in a Dublin race, whether you could get 2 grand at 4s, I don't know it's not what I was there to do.

The Epsom Derby winner Christmas Day and the vanquished fav deemed non-runner Benvenuto Cellini are both 3/1f for this. I think probably only one will run ie Ben, assuming Ben is sound. I think Coolmore will want Ben to run and win this race solely for the immense commercial value attached to the winner; 3/1 could be a good redemption price if the ground is not bottomless again.
