much like the Sunderland position.

By:
Absolutely fantastic job they have done.....looks like a different track and now top three in the viewing stakes, from rock bottom, well done Romford
By:
its better but the cameraman needs to use the zoom
By:
Turn the track around
Rewind back ten years or so Get doc Starr ph pf track record Everton case pocket pairs Ronny toteboard I’d say few others names missing |
By:
It’s better view of lids
But that’s about it imo ****g ant racing down the back into 3rd 4th bend |
By:
Yer he needs to zoom in down the back straight dogs are far too small
By:
Just watched the 8.17. It is different but still not satisfactory. No improvement for me.
By:
It’s sooo zoom out can see Collier row in distance ffs
By:
100 % improvement Finnish wise , Need Zoom down the back imo
By:
That new black winning line is spot on….Sis commentator calling all the results from the still, just said I could never had called that before, and some people are saying no difference, woww what an improvement all round!
By:
Just such a brief glimpse of the line and angle changing as we get it.
By:
new camera disaster. trust romford to fix the wrong thing next time they should get the right sand
By:
As well as sand - I bow to those more knowledgeable on that subject than me - what dog race tracks everywhere need imo is far superior track lighting. Some track jackets are so soiled that distinguishing traps 3 and 6 or 1 and 5 on like coloured dogs can be very tough. Not to mention removal of tractors, spare boxes, happed up whatever's inside the surface so that we can have a reasonably uninterrupted view of what;s going on.
By:
As the resident cameraman said, anyone that cannot see the massive improvement with the new camera angle needs to go Specsavers. Can now see trap draw, break, pace up, first bend, back straight, run in and a perfect still on the black line, SIS commentator complemented that he could now call a finish, impossible before. What is not to like, well done Romford!

people after all these years still don't get it they cant beat you with a bad camera angle but they can by going around with the bowser every race because they put the wrong surface down and getting someone with a hosepipe to water certain parts of the track but people will come around in a few years and see what i've been seeing for last 5 years but i was just moaning all the time strange that people now saying what i was saying 5 years ago on here
By:
the first race today sums up the track and people go on about the camera lol oh no play in first race for obvious reasons
By:
Dr.. whats to moan about? was always going to be massive rails this morning, just look at the spread markets. They are in cahoots with the groundsmen. Just gotta look out for these things..
By:
I mean its so bad they even got Kingdom Ten able to go round in a pitch, then Seomra Genki sees the trip out
![]() |
By:
i lay more now at romford so i really should be saying and hoping more people punt at romford because of the new camera.i laid moss row maid in genki race because of genki
By:
wanted to lay roll on queenie 12.09 but that went out of the window because of the 1st race
By:
anyway done now be back in few mths for superbowl final
By:
ps anybody thinking of getting a dog at romford m.westwood different gravy
By:
especially as they seem to be in favour with the management re draws and downgrades
![]() |
By:
Dangerous game laying at Romford...without O'Dowd policing it the warm trainers are better than your form book.
By:
...and you will get more people now taking an interest because we can now see, unfortunately the management are weak, the ground as you say is inconsistent, Youngy has too many runners and there are at least 8 better tracks to punt at than Romford!
By:
not going by my pl they are not i dont lay trainers i lay the dogs and if people want to still bet bad dogs and dogs that are in the wrong boxes and running on the bad ground then they are welcome i pick my punches these days and trust me there are some bad so called trainers at romford
By:
top a huge price in the 12:39, follows 2 round and picks it up easy...
By:
well the theory was right.. going got 2 home comfy enough.
By:

1.09 trap 3 [kinky] trained by anyone else be 5t4 and be nap bet top 3 odds on. but if you bet her dogs you be on the street begging full time
By:
12.54 trap 4 could lap these to the corner but again why would i want to play in this race no thanks
By:
Kinky is polite.. i thought with 3 being in the race it gives 2 every chance to nick it late.
By:
the screw got up.but when money comes for trap 4 which it will soon then watch it go. it be a different greyhound
By:
1.24 trap 5 screw wonder how trap 2 will run in that race
By:
Thank god a proper track at CP is on. Newsboy been given every cghance of winning again today, i made it 7/4
By:
4 doesnt stay, 5 doesnt stay. 1/2 both paceless
By:
1.39 no play race again trap 2 and trap 4 pace to race the trap 4 could be anything plus 3 back from yarmouth with smart trainer
By:
I've never understood this going business and never will. And what I don;t understand most is why all the usual subjects are moaning about it still instead of having dumped the place and looked elsewhere for a track with more going for it. I dumped Romford as a serious concern years ago when a Friday night open class railer called Cavan something got stuck in rail-glue I knew nothing about and lost a four length lead around the last bend to allow a wide bitch who hadn't won for years and just about never won again, to gain four or five lengths and go by. No point in even trying.
There are far better tracks than Romford to play at. Good luck all. |
By:
TBF I cant remember the last time the Traps or hare failed Round there , Most no races Due to not getting people on the 1st 2nd bend over 575 .
