When i was a kennelhand there was a rule outside interferance. Surely could av bin applied here. Or was financial gain involved? This time of year the track is jammers. If they made the race void the track wiuld av lost money. Tote retention etc.

why do they need a flag anyway ?

Even mr yarmouth who loves the place wouldnt attempt to defend that decision

Shows how the game is finished. Nobody held to account anymore in this game. Even the racing manager and stewards aren’t watching the races. RIP

Had a play 8.44 sheff. Tricasts 124 n 142. Tried to av a few quid on red but failed miserably. Got a third on wot i tried to get on. Sign of the times. Was 10/1 got little bit 9/1. I dont get all bent out of shape coz i cant get on. Come to accept thats the way it is these days. 2 runs back he ran against the first and second favs in this race. He smashed from 6 but could not clear. Ran on stoutly to beat the cookie bitch an btn a length by pluto. Now got the box seat of a similar break turn in front. Game on. Cookie far enough of rail in 4. Pluto not great starter usually so hopefully turn in front if he does will want plenty lickin. Good luck.

Starter threw flag on top of traps as if he didn't care. He wasn't even in the picture but the flag appeared!
100% void race and the sack for him if I was management |

Paul Illingworth, the GBGB senior stipendiary steward, viewed footage of the race and felt both a decision to void or to allow the result would have been understandable.
He said: “Neither dog, T5 or T6, appeared to be affected by the movement of the flag so allowing the result to stand is logical. “However anyone who backed them may see it as a reason for the dogs' defeat so calling a no-race in such circumstances would have been understandable too.” ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() this is the sort of absolute fkin douchebag the sport is riddled with |

When I saw what happened I expected the hare to be stopped first time at the pick up. The decision to complete the race was the clue as to what the track wanted to do about it.

The fat controller says void race then decides he doesnt want to play anymore. His continual snidey side swiping of Julie, who he once promoted to her current level of incompetence, tells you everything you need to know about him. Control freak.
