No confusion Winja, I know who you're talking about. I was laughing at his 100k quote and then was referring to Pat Dalton re the breeding.

Feel for Private not being able to get on fancy prices The Brigadier. Runs Romford so don't see why he wouldn't run Crayford and already got a couple of wins over 692m under his belt

After Slippy Maggie withdrawn, had a couple of little bets 22/1 and 18/1 Goldies Hotspur but still contemplating 11/2 The Brigadier, plus boost

Has to be a cut of point woody. 16 14 12 10. I tried at all rates didn,t get a bolt on. Thought still juice at 10. Couldn't av it on my mind at half those odds an less.

Know what you mean Private but with Maggie gone and Droopys Live unlikely, terrible short for heats and could romp home

Think get over 6/1 boost but used today's, still debating for tomorrow

Don't forget no sign of poppy yet.  Towcester story not great on bends shelbourne what I saw. It's suitability for crayford has to be questionable.

...and think some of the fancy prices you were looking at The Brigadier were before he came back to form at Romford

Be 3,s on Deptford imo. E was 4/9 to beat champ at swindon. Made a James hunt of the start n carted at corner. 10 behind that rival winning line first time. Pulled up trees to win by nearly 3. Was a jaw dropping performance. Whether he will be as effective round crayford who knows trials bin very good. Pays ur money. I might av another dabble b4 Saturday.

P.f. I thought she would av to run in this. Just my opinion I couldn't c the point in buying her. If she comes in season as well u lose another chunk of the year. A bitch as well bred as her u surely wouldn't suppress her.

We will know our fate soon enough Deptford.  Just hope he breaks handy n follows round champ. Get to him 540 boxes n kick him of track. Wins by a tattie field.Laugh

His times are more than decent Deptford. I,d rather run for 17k than a deuce any day.

my concern with Icarus would be his size in a six dog race at crayford...….he found nearly three lengths on his 380 time on the second trail which in a solo allows him every opportunity to open up along the straights.......his sectionals to the bend may be a problem....there have been some lumps win regularly top level at Crayford but they are the exception......the dog will need to hit the front in his races or be blessed with a clear run from behind as i doubt the start stop races will allow him to be as effective as he obviously can be and all that penny will be doing at the first is moving off......i know eight bends allows the opportunity to overcome bumps and knocks so lets hope he can be one of the exceptions for you and Deptford PH......

All this is a bit premature IMO - the entry doesn't close for another couple of weeks, so how can the A/P market be reliable?

No doubt winja he comes with a wealth warning round crayford. As eluded to b4 don't think we will c poppy, live, c how irish dog goes this morning. If they don't run his a.p. price is wrong. The 4/9 quoted tonight is for being on. Will start much shorter imo. If he wins tonight daveg he will be single figures.
