had a nifty on rising razor at 200-1 (ew) in laddies, liked what I saw few weeks back at Rommers , loads to learn, potential unlimited.
With Mason thats two absolute stabs in the dark , "just for an interest" , Good luck to all you lads i have a feeling this aint going to be pretty |

My ante bets are the two I mentioned a while back - Cloran Paddy and Jaytee Jet - because of their six round, endurance slog experience, added to their outstanding class of course. And Droopys Bonucci, Dorotas Wildcat as the up and comers. And Jaytee Yankee and Barricane Tommy as the possible potential big improvers. And Woo Hoo - now out. Considering going in on College after his great run the other night. I like this Janssen - he is winning good races with good dogs and is going places.
By:
7/9 winning favs with 2 heats to go. Trust one of them not to be Bonucci to thrwart the large double. Only beaten a length but wasn't expecting Matt to flash out
Jaytee Jet would have won but for stumbling early but that's dog racing Thought Brandy ran very well too after not leading until three-quarters King Eden staying on better than I thought Still wouldn't swop main two Bluebird (can come on and stay better) and Buick (aeroplane) Think Clares not really coming away and not always get the run of his races |
By:
It dont help having that smug know it all idiot Errol in charge, a complete and utter me me me character, how do they not realise that Jason is the main man and should be on every night?
By:
And Woody, fook off you dopey Northern koont, no one on this planet is interested in anything you say
By:
According to my estimations, there are only about 21 dogs could possibly win the greyhound Derby
I also think Bluebird should be favourite and looking to go in yet again to top £1k returns Buick and Brandy apt back-ups King Kid, Jaytee Jet, Zack, Wildcat respected but would still have to fear Clares |
By:
If the way the draw has been conducted on the live stream is a reflection of the people in charge of the greyhound industry then no wonder it is in sharp decline - unprofessional and shambolic.

Over an hour to draw 96 dogs - truly pathetic.

By:
Big guns miss each other 2nd round but heats 4 and 10 look packed to me
By:
Very happy with my profile but looking to have a more significant interest 66/1 Black Zack
By:
How has that racing manager allowed Butt to be put middle? That is a fooking disgrace

Jaytee Jet's record is astonishing really. Derby semi-finalist as a pup. Irish Derby semi finalist and Consolation winner the same year. Easter Cup winner then Derby winner last year. His big competition credentials are head and shoulders above the rest, with the possible exception of Ballymac Matt. It is no co-incidence that he continues to put in brilliant performances, in adversity, like the other night. Brilliant, brilliant greyhound and we all keep under-rating him!
By:
Short head that kept him out of the semi
As pup Got on after that trial stake race at silly prices For peanuts 200+ This was his big hello to racing over here https://youtu.be/U_U1HPzWaKY |

Think that's what you would expect early rounds, confirmed by first round results. Don't think i'll be betting unless consider something well over the odds. Everything rests on antepost for me. Bottled it with the £1k Bluebird. Trainer said shade stiff after first round and although recovered well, the Derby is gruelling
Still largest return £575 Buick £450 Brandy £350 |
By:
whats the odds on woodie coming out of the derby a winner as usual
![]() ![]() |
By:
easy to answer garryc he has posted all his bets
funny thing is his staking plan is awry also his memory is dire I sincerely hopes one he has allegedly backs wins but hey ho realms of fantasy |
By:
heres to the 2017 "just for the record" thread .... or the 2017 "taking stock" thread.....
unfortunately he has been caught out lying so many times that no one believes |
By:
the best one is where hes backed a few outsiders to cover his bets but wont name them
but you know if his big bets![]() go down hes going to be on the winner anyway![]() |
By:
4/1 Ballinakil Clare top bitch looking good now. Originally thought Coolavanny Pet and Slippery Louise but didn't end up playing. Fiver Clare will do now
Got 66/1 Buick fastest split but may fall a fraction short. Never got round to backing 50/1 Bubbly Turbo. 33/1 Laddies now |
By:
Wedge, wont be realms of fantasy when I've got £575 in the bank after Bluebird success
![]() |
By:
Heard it said in some quarters, Bluebird barely gets home. That's because Bruisers Bullet made up ground run-in first round. However, Bluebird was still comfortably holding that rival well after the line and a more likely explanation, still not quite at peak. Breaks well, brute early, 500m winning form Notts, Central Park, 515m Hove and looks every inch the ultimate champion to me
By:
Can someone post them half splits ?
Woody bollox doing my head in |
