Odds for winning prefix:
11/2 Droopys 9/1 Dorotas 12/1 Bubbly 16/1 Jaytee 25/1 Bar Top Lister dog, 7/4 Woo Hoo Holland, 13/8 Clares Wallis, 5/4 Bruisers but more mileage in 8/1 Rascal Cahill, 7/2 Forest Con Best bet Buckley could be 5/2 Mason, ahead of two shorter ones Dowling, 5/2 Paradise made fav ahead of Matt and Pet Cronin, 9/4 Whoops Jack maybe better than shorter Miller Hennessy, at the odds prefer 11/4 Jaytee Jet to odds on Brandy Fav for quickest time: 7/4 28.80 to 28.94 Top Irish runner makes interesting reading but keeping my powder dry |

Mind your bets. B*yles quote Barricane Tiger for heat 26 but it's actually Barricane Tommy. Tiger runs tonight in heat 7
Even better 5.3/1 the College/Kid dbl now and Louise getting larger - quite nice at 14/1, each-way |

Have squandered a few £ on Razldazl Tierna ew in fastest sect of round at 66s.All the opposition are serial slow trappers and Tierna can come away on occasion even if its form is patchy.A ping break with an uncontested lead is the plan.

I remember it garry...the 1 where he was going down to BV for a few races, nice sunny day, fresh air etc, squandered a few coppers, no damage done etc, then home for roast beef and all the trimmings followed by an afternoon singing abba on the karaoke

That's a fair bet Hector for round 1, I'd only looked at those markets pre the draw. I did play Droopys Who @ 100s fastest sectional for the comp before the draw, he has already done a 5.13 in a race and I am not sure how much quicker you'll have to do to win the bet, 5.10 would more than likely win it.
|
|
By:
Inclined to agree with mate about 10/1 Coolavanny Pet top bitch now no Droopys Live. 33/1 Droopys Costa (each-way) for pennies. 20 bitches quoted, 7/1 the shortest, but it's only 4/1 any other winner!
Who's betting on quickest split, please? |
|
By:
Five books greater than evens the Clares/Buick double, anyway

Still wondering who's betting on quickest split, please? Time running out. Thanks in advance

Ta, looked just about everywhere except Laddies!
![]() 50/1 Buick stands out to me but got so much riding on him already. Sure Butt the fastest but think will be going out so may only have one bite of the cherry, same with Azzuri. So, at the prices, shortlist 40/1 Bubbly Turbo, 66/1 Eoghan and Reg Will have a little side-bet Turbo each-way (top six) |

Hands up those who say you need a bring a dog along slowly early rounds but what's the point of leaving the Derby behind before the next round? If youre dog faces a hard qualifier, is it then you put the pedal to the metal then?
|

By:
Dogs are different but in general, might be best to get them going and keep them going for the month. Think the professional trainers really needed to answer this but Rab once said he's all out from the start

Clarkey on Towctv. Tips Wildcat and quoted Hutton as saying he wouldn't swop the dog for any other
Clark said "it could be an early dog or a staying dog". Talk about sitting on the fence. Must have been taking lessons off Hobsey! ![]() |

Oi Oi the 6.4/1 BOG double!
![]() |
|
By:
Sure Hills are pulling my plonker. No BOG reason being bets were struck too soon before the night of the races and classed as ante-post - outright!
![]() |
|
By:
ie bets placed on the 30th deemed antepost and not early prices, it seems. Doesn't become BOG until late on the night before the races but just how late on that is, your guess is as good as mine
|
|
By:
Sure if a non runner, bets would be settled sp and if its yours a loser. Con merchants!

By:
You need to bet on the morning of the races. With many priced up early didn't think had anything to lose betting when odds available, how wrong I was. Nothing at all to be gained betting early, so don't know why they chalk up so soon?

1st round second batch (Friday)
Cant grumble at the 4/1 Woo Hoo/Bluebird double. Very much liking 2/1 Mason, also 7/2 Zack Big price for you 8/1 Stay Loose, with Butt not getting home - lay Another lay I think at about 4/6 Cloran Paddy, remembering his Leger effort. If he didn't have the necessary speed over 6 bends in the final, why should he over 4 in the Derby? |
|
By:
Woody let someone else be heard FFS.............
I'm on Mason at 200/1 around Xmas time, was with the breeder in Castleisland last year and he pointed him out and " thats a derby winner " .... but that's noel ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Not a bad bet irish, the dog has come to hand and has a great heat tonight. G/l to you.
|
|
By:
Many tickets up in smoke with Woo Hoo. Stumbled and looked like pulled a muscle, back-pedalling
Said lay Cloran about 4/6 but not evens. Wasn't expecting quite a drift as major as that |

Turbo, a 50/1 for quickest split, might have challenged for the lead on quicker going
