No he will go up for that now and is on his right mark now imho.I still think if he had ran like that at Ayr he would have won imho.Im not convinced it was a much better race he just went wrong imo.

Tbh for me its all about the price.If you keep beating the price long term you will win it really is that simple.I got average 7/2 the first time and he went off 9/4 and i got average 5/2 yesterday and he went off 13/8 on here.

ayr was a 0-140, I know it wasn't a 0-140 what turned up but he was up against horses yesterday that had done their winning off marks around 100, indeed less than that for 2 of them

Yep but strictly speaking they were all giving him weight.Its just his jumping that lets him down.
Another i like for first time up at the start of next season is Salto Chisco of McCains.I felt for a bad blunder at the second last at Sedgefield it would have beat the O'neil thing which i think is a decent yardstick.Obviously it will need to be at the likes of sedgefield or the likes again but it has scope and will come out first time up and be about evs to 6/4 imo and just bolt up in a similar race. That was a nice result again. |

Should mention the result flatters the winner more because McCains was eased alittle near the line.Would have been about a length in it if it was rode out imo and it lost about 6 length looking side on at the 2nd last hurdle.

they'll be waiting for decent ground with that, but its still a novice over hurdles, so if he knows what he's doing it won't be out until after the cut of tbh bookie he is really doing my nut in right now, seen the across the bay booking which is good but he's making himself look at a total pr1ck, you don't undermine youngster in any sport if you want sustainability  |

I 100% agree mate.He is also guilty of running the legs off them at times.Doing the right thing with Salto though.

Thing is on alot of the horses he put McCoy up on Brooke couldnt have done much wrong on.They are steering jobs that either win easy or go out like a light like yesterday.Pointless excercise imho.I could understand if it was big money races but its bumpers and novice hurdles etc.Its a tough one for Brooke because he will be making a decent enough living being second string which is not guaranteed if he goes freelance.

the a/e for brooke riding mccain horses is outstanding, they're basically decent northern horses but massively overrated, to have a record like brooke has over 370 rides is sick
 what can he do though, he is there FT over 60% of winners are for him, he's class, he's got a national ride, all I can say is #yorkshire |

I dont bet or watch the national tbh.To me it is not N/H racing and is broadcast to the biggest audience and does the sport no favours imo.It is cruel on both horses and jockeys(jockeys have a choice horses dont).
I'm not a doogooder but at the same time i dont like to see them going over 4m on good ground over huge fences flat out the whole way.Some say when they finnish tired on heavy over 3m over small hurdles its cruel but try telling them if they come down the odds are good they will get back up.If they come down in the National the odds are not so good.Its just a race i hate.All my non racing friends always say after it did you see that poor horse etc etc.Not so many say that at Chelters etc. |
