The answers are no and yes and, finally, the next time I offer an opinion try not to take it personally and jump down my throat - it is a forum after all.  Sometimes we old guys see things that others don't - it's called  experience - and when I offer an opinion it is only really trying to be helpful.  Good luck.

Cashen Maureen did well against my pair Akerview Gem (disappointingly missed break) and Jaytee Jules Plain.

Said not counting my chickens with 7/1 Droopys Adler about a 2/5 chance, very disappointingly finished last. Damage limitation, small stakes at good prices the other 3 for money back. 11/2 Jazz Tilly worthy winner. Didn't fade like in the heats.

Oi oi 10/1 Farloe Nutter! Good dog this. Held the strong-running Lemon Laveer, who got the 40/1 place money.

Thought I should have had 11/2 Lode Henry but happy with 4/1 in the end. Dead-heated with Blackstone Marco.

Good afternoon after bad day at Cheltenham Happy

I think it was bottomless ground tight to the rail second bend. 1 in bitches race was third then tailed off and the two 1 dogs in the distance race were closing then goosed after running through it. Think it affected Rio Quattro to a lesser extent as well. I'm struggling to work out how it seemed so soft there on hottest day of the year.

Going fine yet two favs in trap 1 first two races are stuffed out of sight and run 5/6 lengths behind what they did 4 days before. We'll see how they run next time out.
