It's like everything else - they don't actually employ anyone with genuine, race-reading experience or skills. Nor do their bosses care whether they are any good or not - they don't have to. It's like our host's non-contribution to the BGRF. They don't have to because they know we'll keep coming along and doing business. The bookies are the same with the commentaries - they know it gets us on their site and that's the first step to us spending with them. I would say that if I have to listen to any of them it's Danny on Hills who gets my vote as the best but she is just as un-motivated to get them right as any other. She is always worth listening too though - lovely sexy tones!

he is ok imo if he tones the volume down a bit, you get positions and distances between dogs with him and an indication of where they are in the race ie halfway etc
