I don't know why people keep commenting about this - nothing has changed in ten years. They just laugh at us knowing that their bosses don't give a donald duck whether they are good at it or not or whether we get a good service. All they want is our dosh. I don't listen any more. In the rare event I bet on bags I just wait then look up gbgb.

cant be bothered to give us an idea of how the races are unfolding 30 second race and 15 seconds of comm "its a nice break as they approach the 1st bend not much in it, down the back its 3 and 4 from 6 and as they turn for home its close leave that one to the judge close 6 5 and 3 " same old sh1te every race makes hove sound like it has a 5m run to the first bend and the winning line 2m from 4th bend the very worst commentator that ever drew breath |

As the first to criticise, it is only fair to say that PL and Gary Selby have both been superb all day today. Attention to detail and excellent comms....if these two were always on there would be no complaints from anyone. Add in Simon P from Swindon and Errol into the list and bin the rest off rapidly...

you know the race is over about twenty seconds before he gets there his timing is well out , waiting to see what happens then reporting on it well after its happened silent pauses that atually say "just hang on there listener, I'll give you the comms once I see who wins it" By which time he's **** in his pants and its all over , what an absolute plonker |
