was looking forward to programme tonight, they need to work on the camera posistioning its shocking they even took hobbsies gag of towards the end, thought enzo did ok no fooks ups or mumbling about how a 1/3 looked a good bet  and no mention of a good meal then again it was the don so no chance of that

Think the only that can match eske for that type of pace is ballymac VIC imo
But can he last 6 rounds

To be fair PF, he's won more than a one-off invitation, plus a whisker off the Puppy Derby and a close second in an outstanding race at Shelbourne, Night of Stars but think your post is a bit tongue-in-cheek?

Woody all he won tonight is a 1 off invitation which i said, don't get your knickers in a twist because i didn't shoot my load all over the tv

He is an exceptional greyhound, blessed with crazy pace but because he routed a field in a one off they are all of a sudden talking about him winning all 3 Derbies, it will be a hell of an achievement to win either the Irish or English Derby. The Scottish doesn't count anymore seen as that's now a farce

Let's just hope he stays fit and they get a clear run with him and all 3 Derbies if they decide to go down that route.
By:

When: 19 Mar 13 22:59
He won that big competition at Hove and before tonight, still thought him likely the one to beat in the Derby (always extremely hard to win though) and probably even better 550yds Shelbourne. I'm sure he's exceptional and wouldnt totally surprise me if he goes quite close to the clean sweep. Derbies are notoriously hard, the pinnacle of greyhound racing

woodmanchester on eden star .....

Sour grapes coz the knockers missed the 33s etc? Only yourselves to blame. Touted enough and plenty of chances after the Puppy Derby, Romford Puppy Cup and Laurels. Probably not though coz most seem to genuinely want Eden to do well but they still have their doubts. Personally, i have no idea what you would have the dog do. Think the fading possibility will be less apparent on faster going in May. He is a rocket. Other dogs can do 4.75s splits too, yes but that's to the winning line. He comes forward to the bend and as long as not drawn out on a limb, best draw trap 2 or 3, will be brushing dogs aside at the bend and leaving most for dead.

I don't think they're wasting their time at all still running Bluehawk over 4 bends, it would not surprise me in the least to see him go deep in the Derby and even all the way to the final, he will be very tough to knock out with that finishing kick.

They can then step him up to 6 bends for the likes of the Grand Prix at Sunderland and the St Leger at Wimbledon

for me same profile as lenson joker
Westmead Maldini great dogs not derby dogs
DROOPYS Bradley could do 28.30 easy but 495 splits hes in the carzie at the first bend
blonde dog 23.80 at Romford 3.85 again where going to be at the first bend in race
Is he as good as above !!!
I just think he be a great six bend dog IMO
By:

have to say he'd be kept to 4 bends as long as possible were he mine,he needs to grow up in the mind and concentrate on job in hand over the 4 before tackling the 6 bends imo,hes the type of dog that will have a needlessly short career were he put over the 6 too early imo.
By:

This will be his one shot to run in a Derby in all probability, yes there are many more speedier dogs than him in the competition and he is an outsider to win outright but he is as strong as any and all he needs to do is keep finishing in the first 3. All it then takes is a messy final and who knows, unlikely but if he where mine i'd be running him in the Derby.

The 2 biggest 6 bend races of the year are both after the Derby so why the rush to step him up in trip, it's not as if he is missing out on massive 6 bend comps by staying over 4 bends for the Derby.
By:

tbf pf,you have backed him for the derby so your biased opinion is worth about as much as a scouser talking about home security.

Me on the other hand, have no financial interest and am just keen to see the dog fulfil his potential,a true sportsmans attitude if you like, much like many utd fans in that respect.

Bet aside i still think he should be aimed at it. If he was missing big 6 bends comps to stay over 4 bends for it i could see why people would ask the question of what they're doing but that doesn't seem to be the case.
