Thought it was and obviously seems so looking at the 2nd round draw. I'm lucky to have got Priceless Sky and Coolykereen Imp through, both 4th last night. Videos not up yet but Camas fastest, next quickest my saver Kereight King

Favourite Camas outpaced Money Talks for an impressive success with disappointing Ardfert Thunder showing little back in 4th, but through.

Kereight King kicked on from Ashfield Impact from the first bend, a super performance. Priceless Sky didnt ping and disappointingly for me, didnt go up rapidly. Bumped at the bend and did well to qualify really. At least he lives to battle another day.

Hot Pursuit flew out and won well.

Isabels Boy showed speed and stamina for a fairly easy victory. Refuge of Sinner stumbled at the traps but showed chasing pace and claimed the 4th qualifying spot

Think i might be coming for the final, March 9th. However, not back from missus' birthday in Malaga 'til the 5th and have been going to the Queen Mother Memorial meeting at Sheffield for years, think that's scheduled Mothering Sunday 10th, usually lunchtime meeting, so not sure i could make it to Owlerton even with the first flight home from Dublin. Plus, Chelthenham that week. Would be extremely hectic, could be a very expensive time and weighing up if i can warrant all the expenditure, too. Confused

Think Power have slightly over-reacted to Priceless Sky's run last Saturday, so had another nibble at 12/1. Sure Sky can come away much quicker and hoping to see a different dog this weekend. Camas would obviously be hard to beat if he maintains this form though. Said had slight reservations about Ardfert Thunder, seeing him more as a Derby dog rather than against 525yds speedsters. Still a bit early to say for sure but you can get 13/2 about him now.

More or less decided wont be coming over now. Too tight a schedule and the Easter Cup seems to be a better possible option for me

Priceless Sky is a fair price @ 12s considering he is one of the best drawn dogs in round 2, Ardfert Thunder on the other hand i could not consider @ 13/2 from what i can only see as a desperate draw.

It is not that obvious a palp but the percentages say it more than likely is one as 12s and 16s brings them into line %wise with the other firms.

However if you look at how they have priced it they went shortest Ardfert Thunder [huge reputation], shortest Hillcroft Champ [impressive first round winner], shortest Stay Thirsty [Derby 1/4 finalist who withdrew through injury, ran well round 1] and shortest Barefoot Duke [impressive winner 2 runs back].

They then went longest Priceless Sky and Refuge Of Sinner who where both disappointing in round 1. They're also biggest Coolykereen Imp who ran like a drain in round 1 [though he didn't lead into the back].

By that you could possibly say they watched the racing and took a view but got it horribly wrong. It would not be the first time they have on Irish racing.

Think youre right PF. Unlike Ladcrooks, they very rarely price up on Irish dogs and are rick-prone. Very good chance wont be seen as a palp and will payout if successful

Cambushmore does not run

That helps out Ardfert Thunder tonight, at least he only has the big early one side of him now although he will still struggle to clear Coolykereen Imp you'd think

short anaff than that's the thing with irish racing sometimes its out there for all to see
think it clear one and win unlucky not to clear last week

When: 23 Feb 13 10:42
I put him in 13/8 to 100%, think it's the right price. The top 2 would be better off the other way around though i'd say, think there is a better bet in the race though at their prices.

Got enough interest antepost Priceless Sky (significantly), Kereight King and Coolykereen Imp (savers) without betting on the quarters tonight. Great racing in prospect though.

Earlier, fancy a few and done a little treble. Swift Marathon has a bad draw but price should reflect this and if making his best start could dictate from Rockburst Delta.

North Bound is likely to come on for the run but still think may have too many gears for Murrali Junior over this trip.

Been following Allen Master, who has done well. Sure he can overhaul Milan Castle in this graded decider
