Watched Eske's race [only Eske], yes he misses the break but he gets a solo to the corner, he shows decent pace up and turns a handy enough 4th, he showed good pace down the back [nothing special] and then basically outstayed Isabels and Garryglass in an ordinary time. He got no trouble, at a push you could say a little crowded into the 4th. Some people going way over the top with last nights performance.
However it was only round 1 and he has achieved his aim of getting in the draw for round 2 and who knows how forward he was. |

watched it a few times now, expected Isabella to have alot more trouble than it did. ran awful wide coming off the second bend and as a result, forced to slight check before the 3rd, a bit better off the final one (not so wide) but i would have liked to have seen him fly past the 3 going down the back.

 , eske was somewhat fortunate to have tango on his inside, def dont want 3 on your chargers outside tho.  glad eske got in, but expecting the price to be similar for a few rounds given it was a little too low and with one or two other leading performances. |

i was a little disappointed with Isabels if i'm honest, more so to the corner even though Rodge has real good pace up [probably being harsh here] but i was happy that he stuck to it well

Big sigh of relief my big two won but more importantly through, times nothing special but both capable of being much more up there early. Eden didnt lead til the third and Eske turned round a 3 to 4 length deficit on two class dogs ahead of him

Already listed fancies for tonight. Concerned about these dogs struggling to get home, like Calvin, so gone off Barracuda. Think Alley and Pluto struggle later too. Loner needs to show grit to qualify later rounds but looks a ready-made winner tonight with Priceless Sky. Adding 9/2 Longwood Bound and 7/2 Shaneboy Spencer for more interest tonight

Eden Star looked like he finished lame to me, was in last place 2 bends after the line and hopping at the pick up. I'd not be surprised if we do not see him race again. Hope I am wrong

Priceless Sky looks a "good thing", too. He has more early than Glenapadden Post and can be ahead of that rival when Draper's dog moves off at bend. Skate On fast but pretty sure she wont hold Sky, oi oi!
