I'd swop Ruth for Loner but Hope a big threat and kicking mi sen didnt go in at 10/1, as intended. Loner easier semi but should be a tremendous final

gone in again bridge ruth at 8s think there is stacks of juice in that price, definitely think she can improve for recent sighters and definitely think wallis can get a smash break out of her as well. if she goes through tonight chances are a big gun dont qualify and she will be far shorter in the final

Funny I think Hope is a good thing, absolutely love the b1tch and think she can make waves in The DErby next year.

Loner looking good Flappy, as you said right from the start. Trip was a problem in th Derby but thought she could last better against her own s*x.

Still think Hope a major threat though.

Mentioned on another thread Velvet kept sneaking through, interesting and last night was the time to back her at 10/1, coz she was only 16/1 outright

Cannot believe that Hope isnt at least jf with Loner. Loner probably wont break from red and theres enough pace to worry her, especially if needing to use her energy to pace up and make the corner in front. Hope gets a dream round the outside and picks the lot of em up. I think 2-1 is amazing value.

I've backed Lemon Velvet at 14/1 ante post (apologies for the after-timing). She was a bit 'ordinary' in the first 2 rounds but that semi win was hugely impressive - Skate On squeezed her out at the 3rd bend and probably cost her a couple of lengths. It was interesting to note that she held her advantage over Droopys Hope all the way to the pick-up, whilst Skate On faded away. The 9/2 on offer for the final looks huge, but I guess that is based on her draw. She'll need to lead 2 & 3 and avoid Skate On cutting across her. I'm confident that she can win if she gets a clear run, but appreciate there's an 'if' in that statement.

I've had the max on Hope.

When she beat Loner in the trial stakes, she went from red to the outer. I know LOner needed it and I do like the b1tch a lot, but they couldnt have given HOpe a better go at it. Turning 3rd down the back will do, and I can see that being her worst posi. Loner will probably pace up well enough to get inside Lemon and Skate but she'll need rear view mirrors.

No complaints if any of them win really and certainly not Loner but the prices should be closer together in my view.

By the way, does anyone know of any other hound that won a decent event drawn red sticking to rails, and then won another preferring stripes and running m-w just months later?

no because we havent won anything but i know molly used to favour rails, one vid of her in harolds cross got her from 6 going violently rails and thats how she was early days, now i prefer her in 6 i think she tends to break better there although i do accept she is more mid-wide than bang wide.

addy, have known a few that were seeded 'wrong' in Ireland and progressed through better draws here but I cant recall one that wanted rails, and the didnt, and actually got better

Loads of dogs seeded wrong over here, just got to use it to your advantage. Was one recently in particular that was seeded (w) in the National Puppy Stake yet was moving straight rails every night, they took his seeding off last week for a one off race he got 1 and done 28.40odd, dog is bang rails, could not understand how they had him seeded (w) Confused

Good luck you merry man on loner ante post
you've beat the bookies price, but if your like me and think **** me that draw is rather pee.
so find your Xmas stash and smash it on rabs little flash in five!

I had a lamp on loner from red derby time I hate that box!
I like stake on I email some firms befor the oaks too get her price
But they made no mistskes putting her in at 10/1 I didn't think that was much value
but now in final at 8/1 think she worth a little bet !

think its a good final and u could find a case for all
