Like Jenny but will Harry travel ?
12k about time this is a nice pot |
By:
After Loner won last night somebody said the best Irish bitches are travelling over for it?
I wonder if this will happen, will they have a Christmas Oaks again in Shelbourne may have a bearing on it too. It kind of makes you wonder do you want to take any prices available. |
By:
think i will wait for final entries PF but im a huge fan of bridge ruth.
By:
Fatty think Jenny gone back to Ireland . perky no where near fit why o why do you look past the best bitch in the world she never lets you down come on loner
By:
Best bitch in the world. Really?? She is a fantastic bitch but not sure what backs up that claim.
By:
fantastic is probably not doing her justcie actually, she is an exceptional bitch
By:
Would not swap her for any other who would you take

Bridge Ruth who won the Cesarewitch and Longford Derby.
Airforce Diva who won the big unraced in Tralee and was 2nd in the Puppy Oaks and made the Irish Derby semi final. Milldean Tally who won the Irish Oaks and was 3rd in the International. Cabra Millie an Oaks and Christmas Oaks finalist, won a good bitch stake in Clonmel and was 2nd in the International. I'd argue they are every bit as good as her, they are all brilliant bitches. As for your Oaks i don't know yet as i don't know how Bridge Ruth and Airforce Diva will take to Wimbledon and the different traps. As of now i'd say Bridge Ruth would be the one of them too that would interest me more as i think she will be fine around there and she is a lot more consistant at the start than Airforce Diva. I'd favour Bridge Ruth and Droopys Loner from the list Hills have on their site. |
By:
At her best Silverview Perky is the fastest and best bitch both sides of the pond, imo. Droopys Loner was no match for Perky in last year's Oaks and although improved in the Derby etc, her Wimbledon best of 28.50 leaves her something to find with Perky's 28.20 and 28.28 victories. At Hove, Bridge Ruth best 29.62 and Airforce Diva 29.82, whereas Perky has a 29.47 on her card. (All times calculated)
By:
In your opinion, what says she is better or faster than Milldean Tally or Cabra Millie?
By:
And i could argue about the times you put up for Bridge Ruth too, she did that clock on her first look at Hove, what did Silverview Perky do in her first run around there. Who is too say Bridge Ruth won't go quicker around there with the more experience of the track behind her.
By:
can't argue the times obviously, that came out wrong |
By:
Why as hills put a dead bitch in its betting nice !
By:
Airforce diva cracking bitch looks a leger bitch to me rather than oaks
saw jess on the inter track tonight thought she run well all the way to the pick up Saw the time pretty good 16.01 |
By:
Oaks betting at this stage is full of pitfalls, The market is headed up by two bitches that haven't even seen W'don yet! Droopys Loner runs W'don well but stretches her stamina. She's a bitch who has been surpressed so if fit will take her place, Silverview Perky another bitch thats been surpressed but will she be fit to take her place.Rockburst Pearl n/r & i think Ballymac Wander will also be a n/r. So at the moment Droopys Loner would be the only safe bet for me.
Fwiw The best bitch imo either side of the Irish sea is Cabra Millie. |
By:
All very interesting. Personally, dont think Bridge Ruth or Cabra Millie would be 28.20 bitches round Wimbledon, QED (as my friend Miss Wales says). Should be a great competition anyway. Thinking of possibly going down to London for the first round
By:
interesting that of Perky's 28 races, the 13 fastest as per GD rating include 8 bitches only races, 3 puppy races and the (lucky) Select Stakes win. Perky not run for 2 months and Lister saying she may not enter Oaks..I think she's a great bitch but she has been well managed..and not run against the best (dogs) like Diva and Ruth. Also when Perky came up against equally 'best' bitch at Hove, R Pearl in a clear run Pearl nailed her to the wall, no excuses. I think much stronger Oaks this year IF the best out there take their place but like the St Leger dropping like flies..so think you'd be barking taking AP's now.
By:
sorry, meant not performed when ran against best dogs..
By:
molly will enter i think got a 28.54 there behind perky derby final night and a few 28.60/70 trials, loves the place, only problem is she is running like she cant do 29.54......
for what its worth, i dont think diva will have the early to make bends around there and i think bridge ruth is going to be incredibly difficult to beat if taking to the traps. |
By:
droopys loner for me thought it looked as good as ever at monmore heat win on a wet track very good time very good sectional, dont agree with the loner being streched for stamina comments ive never thought that myself , but maybe ive not paid her my full attention trainer seems to be so unlucky in finals i tend not to back his runners
dartnell had a eyecatcher at monmore but it got a bad draws in final so i wouldnt write that off at a big price |
By:
Woody you have gone down in opinion perky faster than loner
stop with this propaganda everyone knows or should know loner is the fastest bitch in the world |
By:
get betfair to put a match bet up il back loner from when it goes up to day comp start
if i lose good luck to the perky backers however i hope perky dont win due to owners comments at notts |
By:
lool you gotta laugh at the perky knockers on here, dont get me wrong i think loner is a cracking bitch but has everybody forgot perky beat loner 10 lenths when winning the oaks final last year, she also won the select stakes, anybody remind what loner has won??? like i said im not knocking loner but imo shes gotta lot to do to reach what perkys done, alright she been off a while and i havnt a clue whats wrong with her and she may never return the bitch she was which was simply class
By:
Seems Perky had season suppressed. Didnt fire in Derby, where Loner did better but tad lack of stamina that one's undoing there. Perky been gritty in some races rather her capable magnificance but the one for me if fit and well in time
By:
for me got fed up with loner not getting home at wimbo derby time
but that was with boys, own sex may be diffent prospect the bitch runner up to her twice at monmore was flying past her 10 yards after the line! Still got 4 weeks to go a age in dog racing |

Glad didnt back Silverview Perky, now Lister has said she wont be ready in time.
With the reigning champion sidelined, firmly in the Bridge Ruth camp now. Unlike Droopys Loner, Ruth is set to stay Wimbledon's 480m at top pace, judged on Hove form. Meanwhile, not so sure Airforce Diva's style will be as suitable to the Plough Lane circuit as places like Hove and Shelbourne. Had some 5/1 Ruth anyway. She runs at Hove tonight and if she beats the dogs again, could be nibbled at once more. My other play is 20/1 Bansha Mo. She looked every bit as good as Lemon Velvet in the heats of the Yorkshire Oaks at Sheffield on Tuesday and that's only 14/1. Besides, Bansha a shade faster than Velvet early, imo, a good point for Wimbledon and if showing consistency, could go all the way |
By:
Skate On for me now with the McNairs
By:
Tom big fan of skate on .woody stop it anymore talking down loner you will be cart off to the funny farm

Flappy, Loner is one of my favourite bitches and i was one of the first to spot her in last year's competition and follow her. She ran great in the Derby and most unlucky not to reach the final. However, her best ever time round Plough Lane is only 28.60 odd, of which, i expect Bridge Ruth to run quicker, thats all. I would have money on Loner being in the final but may find one or two too good as she has done before round Wimbledon.
Good luck! |
By:
imo i think ruth the faster on the bunny bitch, but if asked who is more likely to make the final i would side with loner.
By:
Bansha Mo comfortably beat Lemon Velvet in the final of the Yorkshire Oaks at Sheffield last night
By:
Should find out how good thet are on thurs
