On the subject of laddies PF i see they are giving double the tri/casts on the tv races on the racing post on romford and sunderland tonight from 7.15 till 10.15... they must finish in 2-3-1 order , one that looks a fair bet is the 9.40 at romford ..i will have a tenner on that t/cast. i have to put my runners on again im off to do the bet.

Slick Seattle and dynamic trend added on here !
|
|
By:
Only 1 bet for me tonight on the heats, Pool Hawk @ 4/1. He has a great draw and if coming away should be gone around the outside. He definately should have the leading off Slick Seattle and Kereight Bear and if going around in front they'll do well to back run him. Slick Seattle is the obvious danger but in my opinion he is the most dissappointing greyhound in Ireland and just always seems to find a way to lose. Lemon Velvet has a nice draw but i thought she ran desperate the last twice and she would have to lead up Bawna Missile which she could struggle to do.

I ask hill what dog run well last week at shell he said slick
So exter 25 m might bring somethink out of him, your write about dissapointing! I thought the trend dog looks big at 9:2 Gl finding it hard to get on might play fair prices tonite |

He did run well after getting trouble on the bend, he showed massive pace 2 to 3 but never went by Bawna Missile at any stage to the pick up. I couldn't be backing him at short prices and have my doubts about him.

I would love to have got some of that about Pool Hawk now myself :)

Its offical PF knows... Pool hawk nap. was with my son last night and he got ardkill star 5/1 and kingo 2/1 with betfair mobile, as for myself i had the tri/cast in milldeen panthers race in cork...i nearly fell over when the t/cast paid 17/1, Hard to call the winner but i thought Fastaway King might be a good outsider he ran well behind Kingo.

Ardkill Star was a massive price on here last night, could not work out why he was so big

Pretty happy with my picks
Thought slick got a wrack straight out the boxes cost him Going to be a great race with will witch I'm happy he's run a nice race hope he's a slow burn to the Irish derby where takes off! Fastaway was game kept on going which I liked But I was very happy with trend he was out going into the second bend he's ****ing fly round the out side if he trap or better that got a bit ep which I don't he go far! Good comp love that long run to the bend it's very fair |
|
By:
Its the umberrelas again why Frankel stopped. It happens half a dozen times every year and nearly twice every Derby!

Tibetan Skies did get a bit bigger ante-post and i had a little go at 11/2 with saver George. Both beaten Saturday but still very optimistic. Razldazl Will will always be hard to beat when leading early, as will Willyjoe. Kingo game in front also. Competition shaping up very nicely

After looking at the heats last sat again my value bet would be Fastaway king 25/1e/w 1st 4 with ladbrooks ..it would be a surprise if he did.nt qualify for the s/finals in what looks to be the Easiest heats in the q/final.... he gave Kingo a right good race last sat... ,Raz will, ardkill star, tib skies, raz george, are between 5/1 to 6/1 to win, while Fastaway king is over 6/1 to be in the first 4 a much better Proposition i belive.

Socks Rocks is a NR in heat 2.
I'm struggling to find any bets in the heats tonight at the prices quoted. Fastaway King looks fairly priced in heat 1 and perhaps Star Addition is too big @ 33s, he ran well behind Razldazl Will last week. I can't back any of them in heat 2, think Kingo will win but he can win at 6/4 biggest. Heat 3 the same, George and Bullet on the short side for me, Ardkill Star is a fair price. Heat 4 i suppose Pool Hawk could be the value again but i'm not entirely happy with his draw inside of Big Momma Pumpin who can go up well and went bang left last week. |
|
By:
Little change antepost betting after first round, said prices were stingy. Still, think my play was right. Said Kingo could do well at the start of the thread but thought unlikely to beat George in a clean race over 600yds, whereas it was doubtful George could get to grips with Skies, if the latter came away, so it was a play Skies and saver George, with slight doubts creeping in about Rockchase Bullet and with Razl Will stamina taken on trust. Transpires Will's very smart when leading but may not get all his own way later in the competition, like last time.
Have a great evening's racing lads, cracking card. Hope they show Wimbledon for you in Dublin too! ![]() |

For some reason ive got you tube race stuck on my phone slick Seattle race from last week,
I fancy him even more got done at lids just got done at the bend run well to get close if he goes up with out a bump he give will a race |

By:
HEADING to shelbourne myself .. lads do any of you know if theres a p. power shop near the track?..see there giving 5/1 = 10/1 at doncaster tonight, looking forward to seeing IF my anti/post e/w bets on KINGO 16/1 AND FASTAWAY KING 25/1 can progress to the s/finals.

Where are you coming from frank? There is one in Ringsend, if you're coming in from the South go along the coast road and you can't miss it.
From Shelbourne gate turn right and walk down the road to Ringsend, over the bridge past the Ladcrokes and again turn right and the Powers id up there. |

Slightly off topic so apologies
PF, have you been for a drink in the BATH Pub around the corner from HQ? My mate wants us to hit there for the Cup final next week before we head into the dogs |
|
By:
I think that used to be called Murrays. I've only been in it once (a good few years ago) for 1 drink so couldn't really tell ya much about it. It seems to be jammed with Rugby heads every time there is an Ireland game or Leinster game on now as ye see them all outside on your way in to SPK.
|
|
By:
PF says he's struggling to find much value, which says to me it could easily be a feast for favourite backers, which is always a delight on a top-quality card.
Therefore, done a speculative five-fold Vic, Mike, Cain, George and Skies at accumulative odds of 25/1 with Spoilsports. Think Razl Will and Kingo could be given a race by Seattle and Willyjoe respectively, so left them on the sidelines. I fancy a whole host of favourites at Wimbledon too and if there are a plethora (is that spelt correctly) of short ones going in both sides of the pond tonight, it could be extremely lucrative ![]() |

just in from shelbourne ..the run of the night belonged to Slick seattle 32.49, close behind was the surprise Monleek force 32.54, IT LOOKS WIDE OPEN VERY HARD TO CALL.

Slick Fastaway trend still in pretty happy tonite will watch in the morning! |

Well done Fattie, he finally done it right at boxes. It was a great race, down the back i thought Will was getting to him but heading into the 3rd Seattle drifted mid a bit and Will just coulodn't get by.
Happy enough to get my 2 A/P bets through but wasn't impressed with Kingo at all, he'd want to step up considerably on that if he's to make the final. Pool Hawk on the other hand i was delighted with, i wasn't happy with the draw and as i thought he got his ground taken and had to check wide run up around them but showed good gears up. He'd want to turn the last a bit better though .Race 7 Betfair Open 600 Semi-Final 10:00 Approx. (600 Yds. Slick Seattle was never going to be easy to catch once leading, but Razl Will showed he doesnt have to lead to produce a big run, a shade unlucky.
Monleek Force always led but Dynamic Trend looked unlucky. Kingo seemed to lack a yard of early to me. Cant really see Rockchase Bullet, led, clear, but still not on the mark, hoisting the trophy now. Smart though Bullet is, think he needs to stay over slightly shorter trips. George not getting runs in races. Crossfield Star big shock. Glad i plumped for Tibetan Skies ante-post. Trailing after a sluggish break, he showed mental pace, didnt have things his own way but looks set to produce flying times when exiting better |
|
By:
thought monaleek was a one off last week, how wrong cam you be.will ran great race in defeat would bet him to reverse result again as dont think you could rely on slick to repeat
