Will we have markets on here for this i wonder. My 2nd favourite comp of the year, it's a great fair test with the long run up and the long run in.

Is Fatboyz Tyson still in training? An old favourite. Think Kingo could win this, if going for it? Happy

Would the trip be within Matinstown Snow's compass?

Think there's a few that like the long run to the bend!
But if the runner-up saturday turns up he take some beating!
Snow would of won the 575 if not getting ruled out

Kingo will surely go for it seen as he won it last year, George may too this year seen as he doesn't seem to be going to Wimbledon. I'd imagine Snow will probably go for it but 600y could stretch him.

I'd enter him in the Larry Dunne 525y next (think it starts in 2 weeks), in the form he's in i'd keep him going until the dog tells them he's had enough

Irish Derby champion Razldazl George will be a contender for the Betfair 600 when the big event commences at Shelbourne on Saturday night.

Dolores Ruth yesterday entered her three Easter Cup finalists George, Kingo and Razldazl Will. The three dogs filled the second, third and fourth positions behind Tyrur Big Mike in the final and the three of them will be leading fancies in the ante-post betting.

The addition of the Ruth trained dogs brought the number of entries to 31 of a required 36 and it is expected that the full complement will go into the draw for the first round.

This is going to be an event of true quality as the entry also includes the likes of Tyrur Willyjoe, Rockchase Bullet, Dynamic Trend, Smart Fantasy, Fastaway King, Croom Upper, Ardkill Star, Oneco Cool, Bawna Missile, Helmet Harry, Tibetan Skies, Ogie Tom, Crossfield Star, Airlie Impact, Vito Dawn, St Louis Charlie and Pool Hawk.

Where is Greenwell Hawk?

Surely this was an ideal comp for him to come over for?

Just watched his last run again. Checked badly at the opening bed although finished strongly.

He has obviously had injury issues since then.

Why do betfair have a market for this when there is not enough interest in Irish Greyhound Racing to warrant putting up markets Devil well that's what they said to me numerous times.

I'm seriously baffled that Big Mike is entered Confused Surely the Larry Dunne over 525y in the next few weeks was the better option. I'm surprised no Future Boy in the comp either, perhaps he hurt himself in that trouble he got when coming to win his race last Saturday.

Race 11 on the card see Frankel make him comeback and Kingsmill Messi and Ballymac Vic make their Dublin debuts. That looks a right good race.

BIG MIKE A SURPRISE BETFAIR 600 RUNNER
18/04/2012
Last weekend’s Easter Cup winner Tyrur Big Mike is a surprise runner in the Betfair 600 which will commence at Shelbourne on Saturday night.

PJ Fahy made a late decision to try the dog over this new trip and he has been drawn in Heat 4 where the major rivals would appear to be Royal Patrol and last year’s winner Kingo.

Kingo’s litter brother Razldazl George, winner of the Irish Derby and runner-up to Big Mike on Saturday last, has been made the 4-1 favourite by the sponsors after drawing the inside trap in what looks a relatively handy opening heat.

The draw for the Betfair 600 at Shelbourne on Saturday night is:

Heat 1: 1 Razldazl George; 2 Socks Rocks; 3 Son Of Pride (m); 4 Ders Always One (m); 5 Tyrur Djokovic (w); 6 Monleek Force (w).

Heat 2: 1 Lemon Velvet; 2 Bawna Missile; 3 Lismadine Jack; 4 Kereight Bear (m); 5 Slick Seattle (m); 6 Pool Hawk (w).

Heat 3: 1 Fastaway King; 2 Smart Fantasy; 3 Royal Patrol (m); 4 Tyrur Big Mike (m); 5 Shine And Hope (m); 6 Kingo (m).

Heat 4: 1 St Louis Charlie; 2 Dromore King; 3 Razldazl Will (m); 4 Barefoot Hero (m); 5 Star Addition (w); 6 Big Momma Pumpin (w).

Heat 5: 1 Dynamic Trend; 2 Ringtown Ben; 3 Ogie Tom; 4 Tyrur Willyjoe (w); 5 Airlie Impact (w); 6 Crossfield Star (w).

Heat 6: 1 Tibetan Skies; 2 Ardkill Star; 3 Rockchase Bullet; 4 Boy Band (m); 5 Gizmo Titan (w); 6 Vito Dawn (w).

I took that from talking dogs and am baffled to be honest, who makes Kingo 4/1 favourite?? He is 13 on here at the moment

I get like that after a round of golf too! Happy.

This competition has a fine history behind it, it used to be known as the Guinness 600 since it's inaugeral running in 1964, but not sure when the original sponsors gave way, probably in the 90's.

Just going to see how the market is shaping up now! Happy

Stingy prices if you ask me but Tibetan Skies and Razl George deserve to head the market. Kingo looks a decent price to me though, at a price where you dont have to go in heavy for a nice win. Regarding the top 2, looking like plunge on one, saver the other. Dunno which way to jump though? Confused

Kingo @ 16/1 looks overpriced to me, won the competition last year going unbeaten through it. In good form as shown in the Easter Cup when only a 1/2L behind Razldazl George and 1 1/2L in front of Razldazl Will and 4 1/2L in front of Tyrur Willyjoe. I also think he is better over this trip and a reproduction of his runs from last year especially the 32.33 should have him bang there.

Pool Hawk @ 40/1 (got a little on here @ 55, 50 and 46) also seems on the big side to me. A finalist in the competition last year and has been in good form recently. He can do it both ways and often seems underrated. There may be 10 (w)s in the comp but there is only 3 or 4 that i could give a serious chance too and we'd be unlucky if he where to get a bad draw. If holding his form he should go better than his odds suggest.

I was interested in Tibetan Skies but not at the price he is, i expected him to be bigger.
Razldazl George deserves to be fav but the discrepency in prices with Kingo makes me side with him.
Razldazl Will should love the trip and if going up better could be a monster over the trip but has been a bit dissappointing since Christmas.
The same could apply to Rockchase Bullet who has yet to regain his form of last year but has his chance and will stay alright.
Ardkill Star has a big chance having won the 600 comp around last October and looks a fair price at 16s.
Airlie Impact at the best is not out of it (his run last week was very good) and the trip suits.
Tyrur Big Mike i don't think will stay 600y, well i don't think he will stay well enough to win this. Another 50y last week and George, Kingo and Will where all gone past him. (I hope i'm wrong)
I think St Louis Charlie is interesting stepping up to this trip but still needs to improve a lot for it.
Lemon Velvet would be huge on the best of her form but her last 2 runs where pretty poor in my opinion for whatever reason and i couldn't back her until she showed improvement.

I agree with you about Kingo PF , BOYLES have him at 16/1 ..1/4 the odds 1st 4, he looks a good bet to get to the final at least, time to put my runners on and get over to BOYLES.Tongue Out
