Why is the trainer suspended from bags racing
By:
apparently fortunes for dogs one bags meeting and i mean fortunes, about as much as i know really
By:
Thought that was the idea! Dogs are there to be bet aren't they?
By:
of course i would not disagree, but when money for a dog in region of 10-20k its a bit like yes have a bet, get some money out of the dog but dont take the michael eh!!!! especially when a dog previously has shown a lot lower level of form!
By:
Anyone heard anymore about last nights incidient when Paul White had 2 dogs collapse at the pick up and he had all his runners withdrawn last night and on todays bags. Sounds a very serious matter, I feel for the dogs involved, I hope for White's sake that it is not his doing!

anakin can i alert you to a dog called minglers nut who should of been re trialled 3 runs ago very iffy comments walked backwards then wins its next two races being backed both times why no mention of that is it cuz the trainer is your mate?????? u seem very one sided
By:
you aint got a clue have you arry! Just look at dogs form will you, Minglers Nut's first race back from injury was 29.10. four races later it is 28.85 lol. Really being holding that back. Typical bunny runner when loses lead it loses determination. and FCD to CK and CRD??? Can you read a card??? The dog is also just over 2 years old and has only ever had 20 races, improvement very likely upto 3 years you may think? You really do need to do your homework arry because that effort is shameful and embarrassing for yourself. I am not one sided either I will say good bad and ugly about any trainer including Buckland. Only 4 trainers I believe you can rely on to bet with the dogs running straight are Bakewell, Buckland, Kyme and Wellon!

By:
wtf has age and injurys got to do with it u r blinkered i bringing up a fair example determination is a load of bull not a penny for it that time then gets backed twice and wins well im just pointing out others not just a dog that u only mentioned because it was with a certain trainer before and if think for a second that them four trainers u mention r straight u really are a on a different cloud!!! trust me

I RETURNED TO H.G. LAST NIGHT AFTER A SIX MONTH BREAK AND FOUND THINGS VERY MUCH THE SAME,BEER NEARLY £4 A PINT,BOOKIES TAKING THE P*SS,AWFUL OPENING SHOWS,S.P.s A DISGRACE,DRUNKS ALLOWED TO RUIN DECENT PEOPLES NIGHT,NO MANAGERS TO BE SIGHTED. WHEN WILL THE GRA AND THE BOOKMAKERS REALISE DURING THESE HARD TIMES THEY SHOULD THEY SHOULD BE ENCOURAGING REAL GREYHOUND PEOPLE, NOT SH*TTING ON THEM

By:
Hallgreen is the best track in the country, the form to result stats are amazing, a credit to the sport.
By:
Kyme and Wellon
how long have they been there anakin ? agree the other two |
By:
Well Pete Wellon has been there since before Bristol closed.
He did have a small break when he retrired. So what are you getting at,with how long has he been there? |
By:
Hall Green is a good track and form works out very well unlike some other tracks that continually run non triers, hangers, lookers etc to fill their Bags commitments.
If tracks were left to "real dog people" then they would all close. It has to be a night out and attract non dog people to make it pay or even break even. I personally have not had a bad night at Hall Green both financially (except once when I forgot my glasses) and socially. Many threads regarding trainers seem to be from those speaking through an empty pocket. It makes me chuckle when a dog surprises and wins at a nice price. Is that not good training or cheating. If your in the know and lump on its great training if not and your favourite gets beat by one then its conspiracy time. I feel more confident punting at Hall Green than any other track. Bookies opening prices are skinny, but who wants to get knocked over by a good thing on the opening show when there is little or no chance of balancing the book with so little money in the ring nowadays. In my 50 years knowledge of punting on dogs I cannot recall a bookie giving anything away. |

Not getting at anything .....
are they established trainers there ? thats all I was asking . |

BF FANATIC DO YOU FEEL S.P.s AROUND 140% ALL SAT NIGHT ON A GOOD CARD A1 A2 A3 FOR LAST 9 RACES WITH NO "JOBS" IS FAIR.DO YOU FEEL OVERPRICED 2nd RATE DRINKS IS ACCEPTABLE. ALSO IS NON EXISTENT MANAGEMENT SINCE STEPHEN REA LEFT, LEAVING REGULARS WITH NO ONE TO DISCUSS PROBLEMS, ON ANY ISSUE, THE RIGHT WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS ? THE IDEA OF A NIGHT OUT IS TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AND RETURN AGAIN SOON,BUT IF YOURE BEING SHAFTED BY THE GRA,THE BOOKIES,TOTE RETENTIONS,THE BAR PRICES AND TO ROUND THE EVENING OFF A FIGHT WITH A SCUMBAG THEN ITS HARDLY SUPRISING THAT SO FEW RETURN ON A REGULAR BASIS AND WHY GREYHOUND RACING IS IN SUCH A POOR STATE. IN REPLY TO "THREECARD" I THINK H.G. IS A GOOD TRACK,BUT IT HOW THE TRACK IS RUN THATS THE PROBLEM

BF FANATIC HALL GREEN WAS THE BEST TRACK NOT IS

JP was at it
There are others at it Why pick on him ? There's a few more still at it |

There are others at it Why pick on him ? There's a few more still at it Well name them. You seem to think you know so much about the green. Yet you didn't know Wellon was established trainer. |

By:
Why name them ? Go and find your own lays
All I'm saying is JP was hard done by Find out who they are for yerself. Hard work never hurt anyone ! |
By:
irish your bot must be cleaning up tonight, all these 22/1 shots coming in.

IRISHONE ,WHY WAS JP HARD DONE BY, IN FACT WHY DID HE LEAVE ?
By:
I have been told by the regulars there ......
"it was the dogs with form of 5556666 go off 4/5 fav and win by 6 that got peoples goat." Anakin_ 21 Sep 11 16:40 Its still happening, more odds on shots in graded races than anywhere else, check out this mornings results |
By:
SO DOGS WITH 5556666 WINNING BY 6L AT4/5 IS OK,SURELY THIS IS NOT IN THE INTERESTS OF GREYHOUND RACING.ALSO WHY DID HE LEAVE?
By:
Why name them ? Go and find your own lays
All I'm saying is JP was hard done by Find out who they are for yerself. Hard work never hurt anyone ! You cant name them because you havn't a fecking clue what you are talking about. So JP gets sacked, then all of a sudden other trainers start having dogs backed into odds on,so they have all been at it all along. A bot user and the fact that you have posted 13500 times in 63 months, tells me what sort person you are. |

Amazing how the underscore or CAPS give it away !.
Stuffed here are some definitions for you, it might help with your ability to communicate effectively. question may be either a linguistic expression used to make a request for information, or else the request itself made by such an expression for example - WHY DID HE LEAVE ? answer - a spoken or written reply or response to a question, for example - "it was the dogs with form of 5556666 go off 4/5 fav and win by 6 that got peoples goat." Now to put it in words that you might find it easier to understand – Mr Pearce had the game by the balls. The powers that be , who clearly do have the game by the balls obviously didn’t like it. Now run along….. ![]() |

By:
You cant name them because you havn't a fecking clue what you are talking about.
You tell us then big boy ! .... information is everything in this game, I have stats going back ten years on every track in your country, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to put them together. On top of that I have a research paper on greyhound gambles in the UK done last year by a degree student after the Spiritina affair at Sheffield. Suggest you do the same if you really want to find out what is going on at a track you clearly care about. Take the GBGB stats and marry them with the betfair stats, it wont take more than about three months to get your conclusions together. JP's profile wasnt unique. You can have all the hearsay, gossip, bar talk you want but the real info, i.e. the money that went down and the prices it went down at are freely available to anyone on the web, thats gambles and drifts. So as I said you put the work in and you will get the rewards. |

IRISHONE,THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPERIOR KNOWLEDGE, HOWEVER ALL I WAS ASKING, WAS IT FOR THE GOOD OF GREYHOUND RACING? YES OR NO, AND WHY DID HE LEAVE? WAS HE SACKED AND BY WHOM, GRA,BAGS, GBGB,RACING MANAGER? DUE TO MY INFERIOR INTELLIGENCE PLEASE KEEP THE ANSWERS SIMPLE
By:
You can use stats to show anything you like, but I believe that your stats above show that there is a higher percentage of short-priced winners at HG than anywhere else.
Doesn't that mean that the form stands up better there than anywhere else, with less beaten short prices? As with all stats, it's down to how you interpret them! |
By:
You need to read a little bit more stuffed.
I have not said he was sacked at any point on these threads. What I have said is that he was hard done by. please note a couple of forum entries from JP himself - here we go again Date Joined: 14 Jan 03 24 Oct 10 20:14 does anyone out their know how much trainers receive for being attatched to a BAGS track, retainer fee, yearly salary etc..assuming their is some financial reward..thanks for any info.. REPLY - F*** All When:11 Jul 11 13:04 ......"And irish it is impossible to make a living at it over here unless you have a bet." |

WAS IT FOR THE GOOD OF GREYHOUND RACING? YES OR NO I'm really not sure , Greyhound Racing is a work in progress isn't it ? The bookies exposed JP to me by off loading their lays on here. I think the GRA is definitely not good for Greyhound Racing, once the property market picks up how long do you think their tracks will survive? One person leaving the game, for reasons unknown, in the wider scheme of things may not be good for greyhound racing . |

I agree of course, but i wouldn't for one minute highlight information (freely available to everyone)that exposes gambles or lays from one particular kennel, I think the way evidence that is "circumstantial" or otherwise (?) is currently handled, that is behind closed doors, is an acceptable method in most cases. Its when subsequent actions appear to have nil effect that it gripes with me and probrably every other Hall Green regular on here ! |
