morella, are you sure grant is being aimed at derby? can't see why not, but savva is trialling a few this wednesday, grant not among them? thanks
By:
Is he back over with Nick yet? I would of tought he would be aimed at possibly the Gold Cup starting saturday at SPK but definately the Easter Cup which satrts straight after that
By:
sry just seen Morella's post
By:
I wouldn't know why he's not trialling this evening with the others but he is with Savva and from what i know hes being aimed at the Derby ..
Possibly giving him more time or trying to focus his mind on the job , he certainly has enough pace to go close in the derby and when you think he's 50/1 and the Irish dog who beat him is around 14/1 hes fair value considering he'd of beat him easily if he'd got on with it over in Ireland . He had been on the go along time when he wondered and may of been feeling something at the time , im sure he**ed his tail off the second bend the first time he idled when looking the winner . The rest may of done him the world of good and at 50/1 i wouldn't put anyone off backing him . |
By:
good post morella, as he is the dog dog i can see going close to Tullymurry when he leads, and i agree like you he would of won the puppy derby had his mind not wandered
By:
agree and agree again, cheers morella as before for me he was stand out value got all the ability you could want nice wide runner early derby may see a softer track suiting wides aswell, lots of "outs" with him and gr8 price rock solid bet
just added shaws dilemma 100's she will be hard to knockout and got mass shout in juv if nothing gets a lead on its own red will almost def move off imo if she wins that be the usual sky overreaction and even if she dosent she is def going for it so i see her a solid value bet @100 also, but Grant is my main dog of this year :) gl lads |
By:
agree on grant as well morella and Czech, thanks for info morella
lovely comp dog, runs a clever 1st bend if in 2nd or 3rd place. wish i was on at 100s, but 66s and a bit more 50s will be fine for now. had some zafonic at 40s as well... what is faster or will be more geared up for the event? goos scrapper when things not falling right as well, as we saw last year. |
By:
Morella,do we know if Westmead Bond is back. He ran well in Ireland but was a little unlucky at times. Represents fair value at 100/1.
