back t0 110+ winners again. kohles must have been well over 300/1 and made the only bogey of the day on the par 5 18th when he was a shot clear, duffing a greenside chip in the process. winning is hard folks!

Backed Shauffele in the Masters last month, and he didn't quite do it. So, this time I thought "wouldn't it be typical sod's law if he wins another major instead of the one I backed him in?" So, I've backed him again, albeit with a much more modest bet this time, unfortunately. He's looking good, though.

I'm on the fav Scheffler. Mcllroy playing great at the moment but i just don't fancy him after announcing his divorce.

Well done Xander Schauffele! He's been knocking on the door for a long time, now he's finally got one. Pity that an over-zealous cop robbed us of a potentially great battle, but there you go.

|
By:
ya it was a great birdie on 18. finally he's won one and if he's ever i contention again for a major he'll know he can do it. will definitely consider backing him outright anymore for these majors now. fleetwood is the next one who needs to get over the line in the big one!

had a small punt on Eckroat at 410. He did pretty well at Valhalla, finishing 11 under. So, couple of quid on him for a bit of interest.

riley was 1000 wasn't he? another huge price winner. it's unbelievable really when you look at this season's winners. he didn't just win either he won by a wide margin. scheffler insurance didn't bail me out this time!

Yep. Riley was at least 800

I've made nice profits the last few years and thought I knew
PGA golf pretty well but this season has been tough to say the least! Here and there I've done okay backing and laying but well down this year. Starting to wonder whether the last couple of years were a fluke for me but I've got to see it through. I haven't changed my selection methods from last year and I generally select big (or biggish) prices so just a couple of winners between now and the end of August could turn things around. Good luck all. ![]() |
